The main idea of the book is the story of four siblings, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, who stumble upon a magical wardrobe that transports them to the land of Narnia. In Narnia, they encounter talking animals, mythical creatures, and a powerful witch who has plunged the land into an eternal winter.
I began practicing the craft as a child. For me, witchcraft is the most natural thing in the world, and indeed, it is all about the natural world. On woodland walks, my aunt, an expert herbalist and wise woman healer, pointed out heartsease, wild mint, and other herbs that grew in the creek bed near my home. We picked, steeped, and sipped the herbs together while she imparted her wisdom.
My aunt taught me that becoming attuned to the natural world is a witch s highest calling, and achieving harmony with the cycles of nature is the key to inner peace. To be a practical witch is to tap into an inner place of intention, energy, and magic to bring about positive change in your life and those of your loved ones.
In Narnia, they encounter talking animals, mythical creatures, and a powerful witch who has plunged the land into an eternal winter. The siblings must fulfill an ancient prophecy and help Aslan, the great lion and true ruler of Narnia, defeat the witch and restore peace to the land. C.
