Salem Witch Trials

I had an outpatient surgery done in early August, and my recovery has mostly been smooth.

I started to think about my three websites during my 2nd or 3rd week of recovery. A friend described my blogging during this time as a form of “occupational therapy,” which is true.

Upcoming posts I’m adding to my other two blogs:

  • Life in Singapore vs. USA (on my SG Politics blog; est. 2014)
  • Iceland Dragons (on my dragon website; est. 1999)

The plot was confusing and all over the place, making it difficult to follow. The characters lacked depth and development, and I found it hard to care about any of them. The writing style was also not engaging, and I struggled to stay interested throughout the book. Overall, "Wetland Witch Hattie" was a disappointment and not a book I would recommend.
2. Mark - 3 stars - While "Wetland Witch Hattie" had an interesting premise and potential, I felt that it didn't deliver on its promises. The pacing was slow, and the story felt dragged out unnecessarily. The world-building was also lacking, and I had trouble fully immersing myself in the setting. I found myself wanting to connect with the characters, but they felt one-dimensional and lacked depth. Despite the flaws, there were some moments of intrigue and suspense that kept me reading till the end, but overall, the book didn't leave a lasting impact.
