The curse brought with it misfortune and despair, causing crops to wither, livestock to fall ill, and sickness to spread amongst the villagers.

She entered the cave, heart pounding, and sought the advice of the mystical oracle who resided within. The oracle revealed to Ella the true nature of the curse that had befallen Cuese. It had been cast by an evil sorcerer seeking revenge for an ancient feud. The sorcerer had sowed seeds of darkness within the village, and only a pure heart and a selfless act could break his curse.
