Twitter is a popular social media platform where users can share their thoughts, ideas, and opinions in short messages called tweets. One interesting Twitter feed to follow is that of Holger Rune. Holger Rune is a professional tennis player from Denmark. He first gained attention when he won the 2019 Australian Open junior singles title at only 16 years old. Since then, he has continued to excel in his tennis career and has become a rising star in the sport. On his Twitter feed, Holger Rune shares updates about his training, matches, and personal life.
Holger Rune seemingly thought the Madrid crowd acted "disgusting and disrespectful" toward him during his Madrid Masters third-round match against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. On Sunday, Spain's Davidovich Fokina upset sixth-seeded Rune in a thriller 7-6 (1) 5-7 7-6 (5).
Becker is currently barred from entering the UK before October 2024, and at the moment is unsure if his partnership with Rune will continue into next season. Holger said last year before the chick showed up, I don t think about tennis 24 hours a day, but every single choice I make in my life revolves around my tennis.
On his Twitter feed, Holger Rune shares updates about his training, matches, and personal life. He often posts pictures and videos from his training sessions, giving his followers a behind-the-scenes look at his preparation for tournaments. Through his tweets, he conveys his dedication and passion for the sport, inspiring his fans and fellow athletes.

I guess he'll learn by own experience, which is the hard way.

Well said. Rune is already distracted enough during matches, he doesn't need this type of narcissist GF and the drama she's already causing with mommy. Get a lower profile woman like Nadal's wife or Mirka - or even Jelena.

There was no injury, though he pretended it was his lower back. Mouratoglou was in the stands laughing during Holger's fake MTO.
Then PM Tweets, "Back injuries are very paralyzing. You can’t move well and feel pain every time you hit a shot. I know how it feels as I suffered from it for 6 months this year. I feel sad for Holger because he was very excited to do well in @cincytennis. The positive thing is that in his case, it should heal fast. Let’s move past this and get ready for the @usopen."
The only legit injury Rune's had all year was at the AO when he fell hard on his wrist. Every other "injury" he faked. Here's an article about more Holger faking injuries to create drama:

With Holger's long history of faking injuries and taking ridiculous phony MTO's, he's faking again, it's what he does. Hours after retiring in his Cincy match, he was dancing and partying with his GF. Nobody with a legit back injury is going to do that.
He is busy with his first-ever GF and we all know how intense first relationships are. Rune is way too immature to juggle having a gold digger model GF along with being #4 in the tennis rankings. It's like asking a 4 year old to teach nuclear physics.

You're disrespecting women again. How do you know she's a golddigger? And were you at the nightclub? And do you even know if she's his girlfriend? Some weeks ago you implied that he was a homosexual. Looks like you're just making this stuff up. I also think that there actually is a back injury. Why would he fake an injury when he was up 40-30 in the second set?

Holger said last year before the chick showed up, "I don't think about tennis 24 hours a day, but every single choice I make in my life revolves around my tennis." Then that means no committed relationships with outrageously high maintenance women like Caroline Donzella.
Just do what Safin did and get a revolving door of babes but don't get emotionally invested with any of them. Get a new girl every night or every week, he has the ability to do that, so do it. I'm not begrudging Holger his horizontal refreshments, but his GF is a 27 year old woman real estate professional from MC and way, way too much woman for a baby like Holger. If he wants to remain in the top 5 he'd better make the wise choice and cut the cord. He's lost 3 straight first/second round matches with her in his box.

Rune has a lot going for him, but also has a lot that can go wrong, and often does. His future is far from certain and he could very well be the architect of his own demise, as seems to be so often the case with younger talents with very, very few exceptions for the better part of the last 10 years.
It doesn't matter whom he dates if his head isn't screwed on right.

True, but remember Federer lost first round at Wimbledon to Ancic in 2002 and he won the tournament the next year. Not that I'm suggesting Rune will win the USO next year and that his career is ever going to parallel Roger's in any way, shape or form.

I wonder what the book is on Rune? With all the losses since Wimbledon, there's got to some specific strategies that coaches and players are using to gain an advantage against him.

Do we honestly know what "level" his GF is? I mean, we really don't know anything about this woman behind closed doors. Maybe she is really chill and actually helps him?

I always wonder about these things when you see all these players that show up and do well immediately, only to strangely start struggling. The most recent example in my mind is Nakashima. He got good results early on, and they didn't seem like luck or anything like that; his tennis looked really good and solid. But lately he can't seem to get wins against players he should be capable of beating. I also wonder if this was why Shelton had such a strong run in his first Australian Open, and hasn't done much since then. Did they already figure him out?

Fascinating as well as overall entertaining thread. I thought Rune's issues might have stemmed from his mother, but now I see his celebrity seems to have created impediments to greatness. Funny his coaches and agents can't help him learn how to balance tennis celebrity with actually winning big titles. Maybe he will do better next season.

I never have said that, just being misquoted again. Some pathetic tool in the match thread yesterday erroneously claimed I hated Alcaraz when I love him.
What I have said is that Holger is not ready at 20 to win slams. It's not a bold statement, very few pros are capable of winning a major at 20. He won't come into his own as a player until he's 22-23 and that's several years from now. I've never varied and have never claimed Holger will win 15 majors or anything close to that. I believe he can have a Courier-like career if he stays injury-free. I believe he will slams but much will depend on Alcaraz, who is clearly a once-in-a-generation talent. I have the patience to wait for Holger to develop mentally and physically. And he may never do that, it's too early to know. And if he doesn't win big titles, it's no big deal. I can still love tennis, love watching Carlos or other players to derive enjoyment from that.
I am loyal to my baby Rune and will be so even if he never wins another event. Unlike 95% of people here, bandwagoning isn't my thing. If it was, I'd be on team Carlitos since he's obviously head and shoulders above the other players in his age bracket.

Over the past couple of years you have really toned down her projections for Rune.
At first he was the second coming of Jesus, destined to become an ATG.
Then gradually as his losses started to mount one after the other, your hopes for his future
began to diminish in lock step with them.
It's gotten to the point now where you scoff at even the mere suggestion his career will come anywhere close
to that of Fed's (your previous hero).
I know you'll likely never admit it, but I am sure that at this stage, you are more attracted to his looks than his game.
As for the above line about mantra, that was simply a tongue-in-cheek joke.
That's why I added the smilie.
I guess the tradeoff is that he gets to be in her box as well.

Reviews for "Holger Rune's Twitter highlights: Memorable moments and newsworthy posts from the tennis prodigy"
1. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Twitter feed of Holger Rune." The tweets were just so uninteresting and mundane. I expected more engaging and thought-provoking content from a supposed tennis prodigy. The feed lacked any real substance and felt like a waste of time. I wouldn't recommend following this account unless you're a die-hard fan of Holger Rune.
2. Daniel - 1/5 stars - I found "Twitter feed of Holger Rune" to be extremely underwhelming. The tweets were filled with typos, grammatical errors, and lacked any coherent thought. It felt like a jumbled mess of random words and hashtags. It's a shame because I had high hopes for this account, but it just didn't deliver. Save yourself the disappointment and unfollow Holger Rune's Twitter feed.
3. Sophia - 2/5 stars - I followed "Twitter feed of Holger Rune" expecting to get some insight into his life and tennis journey. Unfortunately, the tweets were too sporadic and didn't provide any real depth. There were occasional updates about his matches, but overall, it felt like a missed opportunity to connect with fans. I was left feeling unsatisfied and uninterested in following his career any further.
4. Jason - 2/5 stars - "Twitter feed of Holger Rune" was a letdown for me. I was hoping to see some behind-the-scenes content, training tips, or even some motivational posts. Instead, it was a mix of self-promotion and random thoughts that didn't resonate with me. It felt like an average person trying to use social media rather than a professional athlete. I won't be following this account any longer.
