Posting about Kalin and Jinger reminded me of another great magic show I saw in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee when I was there a little while ago.

I saw The Magic of Terry Evanswood, and the show was aboslutely wonderful. He probably isn't that well known, but he is a very, very talented performer. He and his assistants performed a wide variety of magic, from grand illusion to manipulation to comedy routines.

He also stepped down off the stage after the show and talked to people (it was a morning show so there weren't that many people in the theater). I think the thing that struck me most about his show was that everyone seemed very personable and friendly. It wasn't the typical audience-performer relationship; he made friends with his audience.

And he also allows people to take pictures during the performance. (Though you can't videotape it.)

If you're ever in Pigeon Forge I would HIGHLY recommend you see his show.

"If you achieve success, you will get applause, and if you get applause, you will hear it. My advice to you concerning applause is this: Enjoy it, but never quite believe it."

I have known Terry since I was 13.
I was on a show with him last year
and saw his current show then and I must
say he's grown into quite a showman.
His show is good for both the late audience,
and the well knowledge magician.
Gives a great introductory for people with
little knowledge of Magic History.

His assistants and him has a very well
done routine. Tammy has been with the show
ever since I can remember and TJ who I
only met a year ago has really adepted well
into the stage magic arena.

Terry is a good friend and has really
done a great job with his show. I to
recommend him.

I've seen Terry's show in Pigeon Forge. He really should put TJ in the stretcher or twister.

I saw him awhile back, and the show was really good. I spoke with him afterwards and he's a very knowledgeable and personable guy. Mentioned he was going to be performing in Chicago on Halloween night, might have to drive up there and see his 'big show.' (said he was bringing his cat)

Reviews for "Delving into the Whimsical Universe of Terry Edanswood"

1. Sarah - 1/5 stars - I had high hopes for "The Magic of Terry Edanswood" after hearing so many positive reviews, but I was sorely disappointed. The magic tricks performed by Terry Edanswood were predictable and lackluster. I felt like I was watching a beginner magician's show rather than a professional performance. The overall production quality was also subpar, with poor lighting and sound. I would not recommend wasting your time or money on this underwhelming show.
2. Michael - 2/5 stars - While "The Magic of Terry Edanswood" had its moments, I found the overall performance to be mediocre. The tricks presented were average and lacked the wow factor that I was expecting. Additionally, Terry Edanswood's stage presence seemed forced and unengaging. It felt like he was simply going through the motions rather than truly captivating the audience. Overall, I was left feeling unimpressed and would not attend another show by Terry Edanswood.
3. Jessica - 2/5 stars - I attended "The Magic of Terry Edanswood" with high expectations, but unfortunately, it fell short. The tricks performed were nothing extraordinary and could be easily replicated by anyone with a basic understanding of magic. The show also lacked a cohesive storyline or theme, making it feel disjointed and disconnected. While Terry Edanswood did display some skill, it was not enough to keep me engaged throughout the performance. Overall, I would not recommend this show to anyone looking for a truly magical experience.
