Pagan symbols are the various icons and images that hold religious or spiritual significance in pagan and polytheistic belief systems. These symbols are commonly used to represent specific deities, concepts, or aspects of nature. They can be found in various forms, including jewelry, artwork, and tattoo designs. Many of these symbols have ancient origins and have been passed down through generations of pagans. One of the most well-known pagan symbols is the pentagram, a five-pointed star enclosed within a circle. This symbol is often associated with Wicca and is used to represent the five elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit.

Nice Day For a Wiccan Wedding

We work with some of the most amazing Central Florida wedding professionals for real weddings. However, we also love working with these incredibly talented wedding pros on styled wedding shoots.

These shoots are inspirational designs meant to stretch creativity and explore some out of the box design concepts. So, when we were asked to be part of this Binding Ceremony Wiccan wedding styled shoot, we jumped at the opportunity.

From ceremony to reception, this design was inspired by the modern witch with a twist of the 19th century. This Wiccan Wedding showcased spectacular details, and our fall-inspired culinary creations were a perfect fit.

This symbol is often associated with Wicca and is used to represent the five elements of earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. It is also seen as a symbol of protection and balance. Another prominent pagan symbol is the triquetra, also known as the Trinity Knot.

The Menu

Our Events Specialists and Culinary Team designed a mesmerizing menu of harvest small bites, along with delicious and unique signature cocktails.

The menu started with our scrumptious Garlic Pesto Pumpkin Soup, a creamy creation blending Roasted Pumpkin, Fresh Sage and drizzled with a Roasted Garlic Pesto.

Our second featured item was Bacon Wrapped Brussels Sprouts; Organic Brussels Sprouts with Roasted Garlic wrapped in Uncured Bacon. Even people who do not care for Brussels Sprouts will love this yummy fall bite.

The third delicious bite was our Two Chicks and A Pot Beef Crostini. A crisply toasted crostini topped with Horseradish Aioli and Wagyu Beef. This rich, tender beef was a beautiful blending of crisp toasted bread and spicy horseradish.

Any of these fall-inspired foods would be the perfect addition to an upcoming fall or winter catered event.

Fun, creative signature cocktails added a bubbling, steaming touch to the culinary creations.

We loved the unique detail of this entire shoot; every detail was on point.

Pagan wedding decorations

I'm stoked to announced that this gorgeous DIY wedding was featured on Offbeat Bride! You can see their post here: "A DIYed darkly romantic wedding with pagan details & vegan fare"

Megan and Nick, with the help of their family and friends, DIY'd their entire wedding. Love and community are the first words that come to mind when I think of these two and their wedding day. They used natural elements as their decor and hoped that their aesthetic would come through as they highlighted their own set design decoration skills - and I truly think they succeeded.

The bride and groom were surrounded by their bridal party for their hand fasting pagan ceremony on a private property in Ojai, CA. Megan wore a black wedding dress while Nick rocked a velvet suit jacket, and their bridal party were all mismatched to what would help them feel comfortable and unique to themselves. The dinner was an all-vegan meal and was prepared by family members - and was absolutely delicious.

Their lives are so focused on their family and friends and I feel like the connection they had with their guests was so evident of that. This wedding day was darkly romantic, focused on what truly matters when you celebrate love on such a special day as this. It is a great reminder that your celebration can be whatever you want it to be.

Vendors involved:
- Decor: The couple DIY'd and staged everything themselves with the help of family.
- Makeup artist: the bride herself, Megan
- Hair stylist for bride: Rebecca Carpenter
- Videographer: Danielle Murray
- Vegan Cake & Cupcakes: Amy, Peaches Bakeshop
