"The Amityville Occultism" had potential, but it failed to deliver. The concept was intriguing, but the execution fell flat. The pacing was slow, and the storyline was disjointed, making it difficult to stay engaged. The author also relied too heavily on clichéd tropes and jump scares, instead of creating genuine suspense. I was left feeling unsatisfied and underwhelmed by the end.
3. Sarah - 2 out of 5 stars
I had high hopes for "The Amityville Occultism" based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, it let me down. The characters' actions and choices were simply illogical and unbelievable. The dialogue felt forced and lacked authenticity. While there were a few creepy moments, they weren't enough to save the overall lackluster plot. I was left feeling frustrated and unfulfilled after reading this book.
