The Amityville Curse is a horror film that was released in 1990. It is the fourth installment in the Amityville franchise and serves as a sequel to The Amityville Horror. The film was directed by Tom Berry and stars Kim Coates, Cassandra Gava, and Jan Rubes. The movie follows a young woman named Julia, who moves into a haunted house with her family. The house, located in Amityville, New York, has a dark past and is believed to be cursed. As Julia and her family settle into their new home, they begin to experience supernatural occurrences and encounters with malevolent spirits.

What’s an Iron Brother to do? Well, keep doing my research and maintain my commitment to bringing you the very best art I can! I started making Seraph Blades for the sheer love of Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments series and that affection has not faded with time. It can be a bit of a struggle to make a judgement call on whether to follow the books or the TV show when a discrepancy arises. I tend to side with the books, personally, because there’s more info available and because it’s closer to Clare’s original concept of the Shadowhunters world.

Well as you ve probably already discovered while studying the runes for yourself, some of them have been re-labeled between adaptations from book to movie, and movie book to TV show. Finally, this rune is bestowed upon a Shadowhunter at the end of his her training through a rune ceremony attended by the Shadowhunter s family, loved ones and trainers.

As Julia and her family settle into their new home, they begin to experience supernatural occurrences and encounters with malevolent spirits. Throughout the film, the curse of the Amityville house is explored in depth. It is revealed that the curse originated from an ancient Indian burial ground on which the house was built.

If I want to actually use a rune as a tattoo, would that be illegal as these illustrations must be copyrighted by Cassie?

Jordan // November 6, 2012 at 8:33 AM // Reply

I don’t think it would be illegal if you wanted to do it, some of the cast wants to and they can! Just because they’re stars doesn’t mean they’re above the law, so you should be fine.

I remember loads of people tweeted Cassie their tattoo runes and she loved them. I’m sure you’ll be fine.

I would draw stealth. I remember it was the first rune I ever drew. I like stealth because I think that it is a characteristic most Shadowhunters should have.

Jackie // November 6, 2012 at 4:20 AM // Reply Fearless or Heal. I love both the designs, so that’ll be my choice.

I would draw a strength rune because it is what i need most right now since i am still recovering from my condition. An iratze or fearless rune would do too.

The Fearless rune, so I can push forward in my life and achieve all my goals without small fears getting in the way.

Jordan // November 6, 2012 at 8:35 AM // Reply I love the angelic power rune. I don’t know why, but I just find it so symbolic and beautiful IsabellaDK // November 6, 2012 at 8:35 AM // Reply Fearless! One can always need some fearlessness ayeshasheik13 // November 6, 2012 at 9:47 AM // Reply

The heal rune. It’s really useful, especially for a shadowhunter and it looks so intricate. Definitely the heal rune!

jaxgreen // November 6, 2012 at 9:57 AM // Reply I’ve got the heal rune tattooed on the inside of my left wrist. I love it. Ria Jace Herondale // November 6, 2012 at 4:09 PM // Reply EVERY ONE! But, if I HAD to choose, then I would choose the Angelic Power Rune.

Fearless or Heal, and the reason would be fearless so i’m not afraid of everything happening in life right now that really sucks and healing to heal the aftermath of old wounds.

Fearless, and maybe angelic power, of course the silence rune would always be helpfull, but fearless is my favorite

I was really disappointed with "The Amityville Curse" trailer. It seemed like just another generic horror movie with jump scares and predictable moments. The plot seemed unoriginal and didn't pique my interest at all. The trailer also failed to create any real sense of suspense or terror, which is essential for a horror film. Overall, I found it underwhelming and won't be wasting my time on it.

"The Amityville Curse" trailer left me feeling bored and unimpressed. It felt like a cheap attempt to cash in on the Amityville name without offering anything new or exciting. The acting seemed mediocre, and the scenes highlighted in the trailer were cliché and predictable. I could easily guess what would happen next, and that's not what I look for in a horror movie. I won't be watching this film, as it lacks creativity and fails to bring anything interesting to the table.

Having been a fan of the original Amityville series, I was excited to watch the trailer for "The Amityville Curse." However, I was left disappointed and underwhelmed. The trailer failed to capture the eerie and chilling atmosphere of the original films, and the plot seemed convoluted and confusing. The acting appeared wooden and unconvincing, which further diminished my interest in the movie. Overall, the trailer failed to live up to my expectations, and I doubt I'll be giving this film a chance.

I found "The Amityville Curse" trailer to be extremely generic and uninspiring. It felt like just another unremarkable horror film, relying heavily on jump scares and tired horror tropes. The storyline seemed unoriginal and lacked any real substance. The trailer failed to grab my attention or give me any reason to believe that this film will be anything more than a forgettable addition to the Amityville series. I won't be wasting my time on this one.
