i find it very confusing and also stupid that you require FAITH to wield an OCCULT weapon, OCCULTISM needing FAITH.

3 +1 6 -1 Submit Anonymous Velka's Rapier is a good weapon to finish up the game with if you are making an INT Mage build. 1 +1 0 -1 Submit Anonymous

Is anything specifically resistant to Occult, or does every other enemy ignore Occult and take the unaltered Magic Damage? My character has much higher FTH than STR/DEX, so it seems that it's just the better option to go for Occult infusions for most weapons, while keeping a single Divine-infused for the Undead and alike.

Thank God for DS2 because From did not plan out this effect very well in this one. Doesn't even feel like it does actual bonus damage.

30 +1 1 -1 Submit Anonymous I beat the whole game with an occult bandit knife. Very easy for the most part. 4 +1 8 -1 Submit Anonymous

Really should affect Artorias I believe. I mean he is one of the Godkin right? And I don’t think occult as an abyssal force was a concept in this game

Probably worth mentioning Occult weapons decrease Faith scaling while raising Strength and Dexterity scaling. They also cannot be buffed.

Now I am starting the Kiln of the First Flame - The first Black Knight I attack with the Occult Gargoyle Halberd +5 using 2H RB and I get 324 points per hit. I warp back and tried again with a regular Gargoyle Halberd +15 and get 406 per hit using the same 2H RB attack. Not only is there no extra using Occult, there is around 25% less. My stats are a bit higher than I thought - 50/40 with 32 faith. Curious if I am doing something wrong or this is just bad info on the BK and maybe enemies?

Trying to verify extra damage on Black Knights. I fought the one in Undead Burg with Occult Gargoyle Halberd +5 - damage per hit was around 350. Fought the one in Undead Parish with Gargoyle Halberd +15 and damage was a little over 500. I am NG++++ and I think the health on both knights is close to the same. My stats are 40/40 and I do have 32 faith which helps Occult but I don't think it helps that much. Assuming I get past the 4 Kings again I will test against the BKs before the final boss and see how that works out.

I love how the earliest moment you can make an occult weapon is after beating Anor Londo, the only place it will do bonus damage. Thanks From Software

Reviews for "Noroi the Curse: A Psychological Perspective on Japanese Horror"

1. John - 1/5 stars - I cannot express how disappointed I am with "Survey noroi the curse". The movie had absolutely no plot and the characters were so poorly developed that I couldn't connect with them at all. The so-called scares were nothing more than cheap jump scares that failed to create any real tension or suspense. I was hoping for a terrifying horror experience, but instead, I was left feeling bored and unimpressed. Save your money and skip this one.
2. Sarah - 2/5 stars - "Survey noroi the curse" had potential, but it ultimately fell flat for me. The found footage style was interesting at first, but it quickly became repetitive and disorienting. The pacing was off, and the story felt disjointed, making it difficult to fully understand and appreciate the supposed curse. While there were a few creepy moments, they were overshadowed by the overall lack of substance. I was left feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied with this movie.
3. Alex - 2/5 stars - I was looking forward to "Survey noroi the curse" as a fan of found footage horror films, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The shaky camera work was unbearable at times, and it made it hard to follow the action on screen. The story felt convoluted and confusing, and I found myself losing interest halfway through. The scares were predictable and cliché, offering nothing new or innovative to the genre. Overall, I was left feeling let down by this film.
