It's been a month since Every Witch Way's season three finished and we're already ready for season four. While there hasn't been any official confirmation, we're pretty hopeful that we'll get new episodes and so is Paris Smith, the actress behind Maddie on the hit show. We talked to Paris about her experiences working on season three and what she wants to see happen going forward. Check it out.

GL: How has Maddie grown over the course of three seasons?

Paris: Maddie’s character has changed so much from season one to now. In season one she was a little bit more bratty. She wanted Daniel all to herself and didn't like Emma at all – especially that they were both witches. Maddie was kind of greedy, she wanted everything to be all about her. In season two, I think Diego had a major effect on her. He brought out a more vulnerable side to her and a more emotional side. In season three, Maddie was just going for it. She was just like, “I don’t care what anybody says, I’m just doing me.”

GL: What would be your perfect Maddie storyline for season four?

Paris: My ideal would be to continue with what’s going on right now. It would also be interesting to see if Maddie got involved with Daniel again or maybe even Jax, just to kind of switch things up a little. Maybe she could interact with Emma a little bit more, too. I would love Paola Andino and I to play with the Witches’ Council.

GL: Are there any powers or special effects you'd want to add to the show?

Paris: Well, we had the invisibility this season which I was so excited for. If Maddie was invisible she’d have a blast and pull a bunch of pranks on people. I think they should have some sort of teleportation, too, where they transport to Italy or Paris. If Maddie and Emma got stuck in Rome together, I think that would be a very cool concept. The special effects were also crazy this season. The snow was the most fun to work with, but Nickelodeon’s known for their slime. If there is a season four, I want there to be slime – maybe pink slime with some glitter in there for Maddie.

GL: What moment from last season were you most excited to share with your fans?

Paris: Definitely the Miego kiss. I was getting so many Twitter and Instagram comments like, “Are you guys going to kiss this season?” and “I can’t wait to see you guys kiss!” I had to bite my tongue there a little, but I was so glad when they saw it. It was a huge turning point for Maddie and Diego.

GL: If you could have any power or ability from the show, or if you could be any creature, what would it be?

Paris: I personally would like to be a Kanay. I think it’s so cool to control natural elements – wind and fire, I could make tornadoes. That’s so much fun.

GL: Do you have a favorite fictional witch or wizard?

Paris: I love Hermione. Harry Potter is one of my favorite books and movie series of all time. When we went to Universal Orlando we got to go to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and that was so awesome. I got a wand and Butterbeer.

Reviews for "Surveying the Role of Witchcraft in Political Activism"

1. Sarah - 2 stars
I was really excited to watch "Survey every witch way" as I'm a huge fan of witch-themed shows. However, I was extremely disappointed with this one. The plot was confusing and poorly developed, making it hard to stay engaged throughout the episodes. The characters felt one-dimensional and lacked depth, and I couldn't connect with any of them. Overall, the show felt like a missed opportunity to explore the world of witches in an interesting and captivating way.
2. Alex - 1 star
I can't find a single positive thing to say about "Survey every witch way." The acting was subpar, the dialogue felt forced, and the storyline was incredibly predictable. It felt like a cheap attempt to jump on the witch craze without putting any effort into creating a compelling and original show. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this one.
3. Emily - 2 stars
I had high hopes for "Survey every witch way," but it failed to meet even the lowest of expectations. The special effects were laughable, the writing was cliché and uninspired, and the acting was cringe-worthy. It felt like a show made for very young children, and even they might find it boring. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.
