By admin

Bella Parker is a high witch in the mystical realm of Spectrum. She possesses immense magical powers and is highly respected and feared by others in the magical community. As a high witch, Bella has mastered various forms of magic and is capable of casting powerful spells and performing intricate rituals. Her command over the spectrum of magical energies is unparalleled, allowing her to control and manipulate the very fabric of reality. Bella's connection to Spectrum, a dimension beyond our own, gives her access to boundless magical energy. This energy flows through her, giving her the ability to tap into different elements and forces of nature.

The only part of the book that I found somewhat repetitive was Ian’s role in making sure his aristocratic buddy didn’t spontaneously propose while on holiday – something he had made a habit of doing in the past. While this was a clever way to have Ian being mistaken for his royal buddy, the author carried this a bit too far for my liking.

Many of you may not know Christmas books publish in September and October, so over the next few months I ll be reading and reviewing what s new for Christmas 2021 books. It s Christmas week when 26-year-old Sabrina Post knocks on the door of the Vanderbilt suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, ready to accept the ghostwriting position for the memoir of Grayson Westcott--a famous art dealer.

A Magical New York Christmas - by Anita Hughes (Paperback)

It's Christmas week when 26-year-old Sabrina Post knocks on the door of the Vanderbilt suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York City, ready to accept the ghostwriting position for the memoir of Grayson Westcott--a famous art dealer.

A struggling journalist, Sabrina can't believe her luck: a paycheck and six nights in her own suite at the Plaza. She feels like Eloise, the heroine from her favorite children's books. To make the job even more exciting, Grayson recounts how he worked as a butler at the Plaza sixty years ago for none other than the author of the Eloise books, Kay Thompson.

What promises to be a perfect week is complicated when Sabrina meets Ian Wentworth, a handsome British visitor, at the hotel bar. When Ian assumes Sabrina is another wealthy guest at the hotel, she doesn't correct him --a decision she doesn't regret after learning that Ian is a member of the British aristocracy. But, things are not what they seem. The truth is: Ian is not a wealthy lord; he's actually the personal secretary of Lord Spencer Braxton.

As the week unfolds, will Sabrina and Ian learn the truth about one another?

Filled with the magic that can only be found at the Plaza Hotel during the holidays, and revealing facts about the author of the Eloise books, Anita Hughes's A Magical New York Christmas is both a holiday treat and a heartwarming story that reminds us that falling in love is the greatest miracle of all.

She is often seen wearing a flowing black cloak with a hood that obscures her face, adding to her enigmatic presence. Bella rarely interacts with others in the magical community, as she prefers solitude and contemplation. There are rumors that Bella's magical abilities are tied to a powerful artifact known as the Witch's Eye. Legend has it that this ancient artifact grants its wielder unparalleled magical power and knowledge. Some believe that Bella's mastery of magic is a direct result of her possession of the Witch's Eye, while others dismiss these claims as mere speculation. Bella herself remains tight-lipped about the artifact, neither confirming nor denying its existence. Despite her reclusive nature, Bella's presence is deeply felt in Spectrum.
