1. Mark - 2/5 stars
I was really disappointed with "Shantae and the Pirates Curse" on the 3DS. The game felt repetitive and lacked innovation. The platforming mechanics were mediocre at best, and the overall level design felt uninspired. Additionally, the story was dull and did not engage me as a player. Overall, I would not recommend this game for anyone looking for an exciting and engaging platformer.
2. Emily - 1/5 stars
"Shantae and the Pirates Curse" on the 3DS was a huge letdown for me. The game was filled with frustrating moments, from poorly designed boss fights to unresponsive controls. The graphics were also disappointing, and the overall presentation felt lackluster. I found myself quickly losing interest in the game and not wanting to pick it up again. For me, this was a waste of time and money.
3. Chris - 2/5 stars
I had high expectations for "Shantae and the Pirates Curse" on the 3DS, but sadly it did not live up to them. The game felt dated and lacked the charm and excitement that I had heard about. The gameplay felt repetitive and the levels became monotonous quickly. The character abilities were not particularly interesting or fun to use, which further added to my disappointment. I would have preferred spending my time and money on a different game.
4. Sarah - 3/5 stars
While "Shantae and the Pirates Curse" on the 3DS had its moments, overall, it fell short for me. The gameplay mechanics were decent, but there was nothing unique or innovative about them. The story was forgettable, and the characters did not leave a lasting impression. The game felt like a missed opportunity to deliver something truly memorable. While it may still provide some enjoyment to fans of the series, I found it to be a lackluster experience.
