Mirror Reaper is not for the thriller seeker, nor is it for the faint of heart. At its core, it is paradoxically unyielding and gentle. Its length may listeners turn off, and for good reason. Fortunately, the execution of that material is largely beyond reproach. Bell Witch gambled with Mirror Reaper. On paper, an hour-plus of crushing plod should turn off all but the most devoted acolytes. Bell Witch defy expectations with a beautiful, haunting expression of sorrow and loss unlike any I’ve experienced. For those willing to invest the necessary time, Mirror Reaper will not disappoint.

However, coupled with the record s titanic length and extensive, sobering development, Mirror Reaper is a difficult listen to get through in one sitting. Once again engineered and mixed by veteran producer Billy Anderson who claims this as one of the milestones in his entire producing career the duo of Dylan Desmond bass, vocals and Jesse Shreibman drums, vocals, organ push the sound even further beyond their landmark 2015 album, the genre-defining Four Phantoms.

BELL WITCH - MIRROR REAPER Vinyl 2xLP

With their third full-length album Mirror Reaper, Seattle doom metal duo Bell Witch have created their most enormous and all-encompassing work to date. The band takes their blueprint for minimalistic, mournful, yet massive sound and expands it to a new level, doing the unthinkable in the genre: a continuous 83-minute piece unfolding as a single time-stretching track. Once again engineered and mixed by veteran producer Billy Anderson (who claims this as one of the milestones in his entire producing career) the duo of Dylan Desmond (bass, vocals) and Jesse Shreibman (drums, vocals, organ) push the sound even further beyond their landmark 2015 album, the genre-defining Four Phantoms. With organ adding a new layer, the album also sees honorary member and guest vocalist Erik Moogridge (Aerial Ruin) return once again offering an even more prominent presence with his vocals. On the themes surrounding the concept and lyrics, the band states: “Our original idea for this record was to write a two-song album titled As Above / So Below. These two songs would have been split into seven movements to correlate with the seven Hermetic principals. The process took a life of its own and upon completion we have one song spanning 83 minutes. It is titled in reference to the axiom ‘As Above So Below’. During the writing process we were devastated by the loss of our dear friend and former drummer, Adrian Guerra. Out of love for and in respect to his memory, we reserved an important yet brief section in the song for him that features vocal tracks left over from our previous album. We believe he would be proud of it.” Limited colored vinyl edition available to mail-order customers only, while supplies last!

Reviews for "Why the Apple Magic Trackpad in Black is Perfect for Photoshop and Video Editing"

1. John - 1/5 - I was extremely disappointed with the Apple Magic Trackpad in black. Not only did it fail to live up to its hype, but it also lacked some basic functionality that I was expecting. The trackpad had a poor response rate, often lagging behind my finger movements. Additionally, the gestures were not as smooth or accurate as I had hoped, making it frustrating to use. On top of that, the trackpad had a tendency to randomly disconnect from my device, requiring me to constantly re-pair it. Overall, an expensive and underwhelming product from Apple.
2. Sarah - 2/5 - I was really excited to try out the Apple Magic Trackpad in black, but it fell short of my expectations. While the sleek design is aesthetically pleasing, the functionality left much to be desired. The trackpad seemed overly sensitive, making it hard to perform precise movements without accidental clicks or scrolls. The lack of tactile feedback also made it difficult to gauge if my input was registered properly. Overall, I found the experience frustrating and not worth the price tag.
3. Michael - 2/5 - I had high hopes for the Apple Magic Trackpad in black, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. The trackpad felt uncomfortably slippery, making it hard to maintain control and precision. The lack of physical buttons also irked me, as I often found myself accidentally activating features or clicking on things unintentionally. The battery life was also disappointing, requiring frequent recharging. While the gestures were a nice addition, the overall user experience fell short for me.
