store.steampowered.com Learn More [LINUX] [Early 2000s] Children's game with clown face

Platform: 90% sure it was Linux freeware

Genre: Children's/educational, early childhood

Year of release: Unsure, played it in early 00s

Art style: Pretty basic, not super aesthetic, looked very low budget/not made by a good game studio, mostly remember the clown

Notable characters: A really unfortunately creepy clown face, possibly looked like an amateur 3D model (sculpted a little weird?)

Notable gameplay mechanics: It was made up of little easy kids' quiz games about things like shapes and colors. Not sure if they were timed or if there was a counter for too many wrong answers or something.

Other details: Once a minigame ended, if you were successful, a smiling clown face would appear over top of the minigame for a few seconds. If you failed, the clown face would be frowning instead. It took up most of the screen. There may have been sound effects to accompany the happy and sad faces.

Estimated year of release: 90's

1. John - 1/5 - I was highly disappointed by the "New Berlin Magic Tryouts" show. The performers lacked skill and expertise, resulting in a dull and uninspiring experience. The tricks they performed were basic and amateurish, without any wow factor. The show also lacked any cohesive storyline or flow, making it feel disjointed and confusing. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this subpar magical production.
2. Sarah - 2/5 - The "New Berlin Magic Tryouts" show fell short of my expectations. While there were a few impressive moments, overall, it was a lackluster performance. The magicians seemed to struggle with their tricks, often fumbling and making mistakes. The staging and set design were minimalistic, and the lack of creativity was evident. I had high hopes for this show, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver the magical experience I was looking for.
3. Michael - 2/5 - The "New Berlin Magic Tryouts" show was underwhelming. The magicians were unengaging and failed to captivate the audience. The tricks were predictable, and I wasn't left in awe at any point during the performance. Additionally, the pacing of the show was off, with awkward gaps between acts. Save your money and skip this show unless you have a penchant for mediocre magic acts that lack excitement and creativity.
4. Emily - 1/5 - I had high expectations for the "New Berlin Magic Tryouts" show, but unfortunately, it fell flat. The magicians were forgettable, and their tricks were unimpressive. The overall production value was low, with minimal effort put into the costumes and staging. The lack of charisma and engagement from the performers made the entire experience quite boring. I left the show feeling disappointed and regretful of the money I had spent on a ticket.
5. David - 1/5 - The "New Berlin Magic Tryouts" show was a wasted opportunity for an entertaining evening. The magicians seemed unprepared and often stumbled through their tricks. The lack of seamless transitions and clear storytelling made it difficult to follow the performance. The show lacked the excitement and wonder that one would expect from a magic show. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone seeking to be amazed or entertained.
