Long bloody title, but a great film no doubt.

I had seen 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' before but hadn't watched it for years and years, I remembered the vast majority though - it's a memorable film after all. There's a great battle scene in there, some fun characters and strong effects. It's a tad too long, but not by much.

It has a nice charm to it also, as they set up Narnia excellently. The quartet of children are very well cast, all four of them suit their roles to a T. Georgie Henley is sweet as Lucy, while William Moseley and Anna Popplew. read the rest.

Reviews for "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe": Meet the Stars Who Captured our Hearts"

    1. John - 2/5 stars
The cast of the "Narnia Lion Witch Wardrobe" was very disappointing to me. The acting felt wooden and lacked emotion, making it hard for me to connect with the characters. Additionally, I felt that the casting choices were not well-suited for the roles. Aslan, the majestic lion, did not have the presence and charisma I expected, and the young actors portraying the Pevensie children felt inexperienced and struggled to bring depth to their characters. Overall, I was let down by the performance of the cast and it negatively impacted my enjoyment of the movie.
    2. Sarah - 1/5 stars
I found the cast of "Narnia Lion Witch Wardrobe" to be incredibly miscast. The actors felt out of place and did not bring the characters to life as I had hoped. Aslan, the wise and powerful lion, lacked the regalness and authority that I envisioned. The children, especially Peter and Susan, lacked the charisma and personality needed to make their characters compelling. I was disappointed by the lackluster performances and found it difficult to fully immerse myself in the world of Narnia because of the casting choices. Overall, the cast did not do justice to the beloved characters from the book.
    3. Emily - 3/5 stars
While I didn't hate the cast of "Narnia Lion Witch Wardrobe," I did have some issues with certain performances. Peter and Susan, in particular, felt a bit flat and lacked the depth I expected from their characters. On the other hand, Lucy and Edmund were portrayed with more authenticity and brought a spark of life to the film. Aslan, although not as majestic as I had envisioned, still had a certain presence that made him compelling. Overall, while the cast didn't fully meet my expectations, there were some standout performances that salvaged the movie for me.
