Does anyone has any info on this one ? I've owned it for a few years and I have just discovered it's a bootleg. All of the Melvins records I bought are bootlegs, and I all bought them at the same place and they weren't sold as such.

Does the MOV copy have Queen and Revolve at a lower volume than the rest of the song as well? Have only owned this version so I have no point of comparison

is a bit noisy, got a lil better after a wet clean but still a bit poppy. Not skips for me. It's a bologna sammich, not great not terrible.

Just received my MOV copy and I can confirm that this beautiful European pressing is the way to go. Gorgeous vinyl (black) and absolutely dead quiet. Dynamic and punchy, lively. Gatefold packaging is top quality, all images sharp and saturated and clean looking. The real thing!

So it was given a test pressing in 2014 and given the full release in 2016. What was the massive delay for then? Legal reasons? Pressing issues?

I did not enjoy the Melvins stoner witch songs at all. The whole album felt slow, monotonous, and just plain boring. The songs lacked any sort of energy or excitement, and the vocals were extremely grating. I can see how some people might appreciate this style of music, but it's just not for me. I found myself skipping through most of the tracks, hoping to find something that would catch my interest, but unfortunately, that never happened. Overall, a disappointing experience.

As someone who typically enjoys stoner rock, I was excited to give the Melvins stoner witch songs a listen. However, I was left disappointed. The album felt uninspired and lacked the heaviness that I look for in this genre. The songs blended together, making it difficult to distinguish one from the other. Additionally, the vocals were difficult to tolerate and felt like they were trying too hard to be unique. While I appreciate experimentation, it just didn't work for me in this case. Overall, I found the Melvins stoner witch songs to be forgettable and not worth revisiting.

I had high hopes for the Melvins stoner witch songs, but unfortunately, they fell flat for me. The album lacked cohesion and felt disjointed. The songs seemed to meander without any clear direction or purpose. Additionally, the vocals were off-putting and did not complement the music well. I found myself growing bored and disengaged while listening to this album, and I don't think I'll be revisiting it anytime soon. While I appreciate the band's attempt at creating something unique, it just didn't resonate with me.
