Ultrasonic Cleaners: what's worked, what hasn't, please share

Hey All, I'm new to the community and figured I might post up some observations I've made with my post processing using an ultrasonic cleaner. Please comment with what you've found works or doesn't work in your process (make sure to mention you printer model and resin as well).

My Printer: Sonic Mini 4K, My resin of choice: Phrozen Aqua Gray 4K

Currently I'm using Mean green straight up in a 6L ultrasonic cleaner my process is as follows but not completely happy with it.

  1. turn on a warm up the mean green in the cleaner using 50C temp setting
  2. scrape print right off the build plate into the mean green bath and let ultrasonic run for 20min
  3. Pull out of the mean green bath and let excess drip off
  4. pull parts of supports and put them into 95% IPA in pickle tupperware
  5. rinse in IPA for a bit, blow dry and then cure for 10-20min in UV cure box (DIY)

This Process is working pretty well and allows me to run the Ultrasonic Cleaner without fear of well. exploding. But I'm running issues with some mean green/resin being left on the print which takes some scrubbing after it's been in the IPA to remove it. As you can see in the picture attached sometimes not possible to fully remove either. I think my Mean green bath is just to saturated with resin at this point, but honestly not sure what to do with the contaminated mean green. Anyone out there using mean green and have some recommendations for either disposal or how long to use before changing?

I was really disappointed with the Mavic green ultrasonic cleaner. Firstly, the instructions were extremely vague and it took me a while to figure out how to properly use it. Even after following the instructions, I found that it didn't clean my items as effectively as I had hoped. The cleaning cycle was very short and didn't seem to remove all the dirt and grime. It also didn't handle tougher stains or tarnish very well. Overall, I expected better performance from this cleaner and would not recommend it.

I had high hopes for the Mavic green ultrasonic cleaner, but it ended up being a complete waste of money. The cleaning process was extremely loud and disruptive, making it difficult to use in my small apartment. Additionally, I found that it didn't clean my jewelry or other small items effectively. I had to run multiple cleaning cycles to even see a slight improvement, and it still didn't remove all the dirt and stains. The build quality also left much to be desired, as the lid didn't fit securely and the overall construction seemed flimsy. I would not recommend this cleaner to anyone.

The Mavic green ultrasonic cleaner was not as efficient as I expected. While it did remove some dirt and grime from my items, it didn't completely clean them. I had to use additional cleaning methods to achieve the desired results. Furthermore, the cleaning cycles were quite short, and I felt like the items weren't given enough time to thoroughly clean. The noise level was also a bit disturbing, making it difficult to use in a quiet household. Overall, I was disappointed with the performance and would look for other options in the future.

I regret purchasing the Mavic green ultrasonic cleaner. The cleaning power was subpar and did not meet my expectations. It struggled with removing stains and didn't leave my items looking as clean as I had hoped. Additionally, the cleaning cycles were quite short, and I felt like it didn't give enough time for the cleaning solution to work its magic. The overall construction of the cleaner was also disappointing, as it felt cheaply made and not very durable. Save your money and invest in a more effective ultrasonic cleaner.
