He is rescued by three mysterious ladies, who kill the monster and give Tamino a picture of Pamina , daughter of the Queen of the Night , with whom he falls instantly in love. The rustic character of Papageno has folksong-like arias built of simple melodies, whilst Sarastro s music is deep, stately and almost hymn-like, reflecting his character as a spiritual leader.
The magicians perform mind-bending tricks and illusions that leave the audience in awe. They make objects disappear and reappear, levitate in the air, and even defy gravity. The aerial performers, on the other hand, showcase their incredible skills through breathtaking acrobatic routines.

While, we wait for the official opening of Super Nintendo World, Feb 17th, there's still some other Mario-related happenings in LA. We have The Magic Flute AKA Superflute, that by sheer costume and set design alone we want to see. (check out photos from it's 2017 run below) This intriguing production takes place for only two weekends this March. It's an opera set to the music of Mozart with a heavy Nintendo inspired theme.
