The Salem witch trials were a dark chapter in American history, where mass hysteria and paranoia resulted in the execution of 20 innocent people, mostly women, accused of witchcraft. The details of the trials have been preserved through historical records and writings, allowing us to have an interactive experience of the events that unfolded during that turbulent time. **One of the most famous accounts of the Salem witch trials is "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller.** By immersing ourselves in the play or reading the script, we can gain insight into the atmosphere of fear and suspicion that permeated the Salem community. The play explores the motivations behind the accusations and the impact on the individuals involved, bringing to life the tension and hysteria that gripped the town. **Several museums and landmarks in Salem offer interactive exhibits and tours that allow visitors to step back in time and experience the Salem witch trials firsthand.

So I've been using this amulet for a bit of gameplay and can we say NERF? Yes, it gives you +50 magicka and 25% off conjuration, which is nice, especially for a non-crafter like myself, but oh boy does that 75% stunt in health and stamina regen hurt! Now, you would tell me, take it off you silly person, but with the amulet on, I haven't had this much fun with gameplay since the earlier levels. It was pretty thrilling to go into Sarthaal with Draugr Deathlords (I'm level 28) knowing full well that if I got hit, I wasn't going to recover right away. This is also a mellee build, I'm just using bound weapons for the college quests, so there is no hiding behind ranged attacks other than the bound bow, and there is no sneak.

It offers an interactive experience that educates and engages visitors in the history and human drama of the witch trials.

Anybody else use this amulet in gameplay? With what type of build? And are there other underused and unusual artifacts out there that people feel should be used more? Share your experiences.

Uh, yes I do, sort of. I learn the enchantments from it, and then place it, along with up to four more, on another amulet, ring, crown, or helmet. By the way, don't touch the "Strange Amulet" unless you're at the proper quest point to do so!

You must have a mod that allows it to be disenchanted, as it cannot be in the base game. I do not have such mods.

Lol, obviously if I have the Necromancer's amulet, I know how the quest Blood on the Ice goes.

I've never really been terribly fond of Conjuration, so it's never really appealed to me. I think my favourite artefact in Skyrim's probably Dawnbreaker (it makes me giggle when draugr start running away). I also rather like the Ghost Blade (or something like that) even though it's not very good.

Probably so. I've yet to encounter that quest. Or if I did before, I didn't get very far into it. Not far enough to find said amulets.

actually on a Melee build if youve put no points into magicka and only into health this is a great item because it will allow you to summon better creatures or to use the better bound weapons. Health potions are every where and way to plentiful so if you get hit take some potions

This is precisely how I'm using the amulet and so far, it's been a challenge but very rewarding. I'm getting used to the gameplay and just bring extra potions and food to make up for the stunted regen.

This is the equipment

Orcish Helmet of eminent archery
Orcish bracers of eminent wielding
Adept robes of conjuration -17% cost reduction
Ring of recharging
Necromancer's amulet - 25% cost reduction
Vaemina's Devotion - 20% cost reduction cloak, acquired with Cloaks of skyrim installed
Dwarven Boots of Extreme stamina
Shield of Solitude

I'm finding that with all the above spell reduction, the perks I've invested in Conjuration, and the Advanced Atronach (with Restoration potions, I absorb 77% of incoming spells, get a 77 point boost to magicka, and a 77% stunt in Magicka regen), I can cast bound weapons very well, and reanimate corpses more fluidly than expected. My summons are awful, though, as I absorb it most of the time. However, I can use the failed summons to very quickly restore magicka, making magicka potions unecessary. For fun, I'd like to try the Necromancy route, as I think merely limiting the use of conjuration to bound weapons doesn't take advantage of all it has to offer.

I like to call this the Curse of the necromancers Amulet, because you get the constant effect of plus 130 magic, plus 12 or 13 intel and willpower, but you also get the negatives minus 25 to your strength and endurance constant effect.
