The Magic of Bouncing Projectiles: A Beginner's Guide to the Wand

By admin

The magic wand of bouncing projectiles is a fascinating and powerful tool that has been used for centuries in various magical practices. It is believed to have originated from ancient sorcerers who discovered the enchanting properties of certain materials that could cause projectiles to bounce off surfaces. At its core, the magic wand of bouncing projectiles is a wand imbued with the ability to manipulate the physical properties of objects upon contact. When wielded by a skilled sorcerer or sorceress, the wand can be used to create a variety of enchantments that cause projectiles, such as arrows or bullets, to bounce off surfaces rather than penetrate them. The main idea is the ability of the magic wand to manipulate the physical properties of projectiles. One of the most impressive uses of the wand is its ability to create a temporary shield-like effect when held up against projectiles.

Here is mine, doesnt really destroy the world like yours, but does kill everything and looks amazing:

It would freeze anything it came into contact with a split second before the tentacle actually hit, meaning it instantly killed everything except the final boss, which it still killed within seconds. One of the most impressive uses of the wand is its ability to create a temporary shield-like effect when held up against projectiles. This is accomplished by directing the magical energy of the wand towards the incoming projectile, causing it to lose its momentum upon impact and bounce off harmlessly. This shield-like effect can be invaluable in situations where the sorcerer or sorceress is under attack and needs protection.

Wand attack skill, soonish please

It would be nice to have some kind of special wand attack skill, in the short term, so we can mess with wand builds. Right now all we have is Elemental Hit, which is single target. It doesn't really matter what the skill does as long as it's a viable multi-target or AoE attack. Examples:

- Clone multi-shot, call it Ternion Attack

- Clone Strafe from D2, pew pew pew!

- Guided Arrow style projectile that pieces targets and flies in a twirling pattern

- Basic skill that simply adds AoE radius to wand bolts

Again, it doesn't matter. Just put it in with 0.9.3 so we can make wanders. Thanks

Why does everyone forget frenzy when listing skills which work on wands?
Also, both of those can be used with multiple projectiles support for a multi-target attack. There will be more wand skills in future, but you're going to have to be patient.

I think people forget frenzy because:

Wand damage is typically bad (beyond early game) unless you spec for wands (which is basically too hard to do with the current passive tree).

Wands are frequently selected based on the buffs they give to other things, not the damage they do (a damage 0, wand attacks are 100% slower, +100% damage to cold spells, cold gems +1 would be an amazing wand).

Wands are used by a class with major aoe and single target damage spells. Unless that class is out of mana, what would be the point? (There are already discussions about how to disable the "attack" option completely so that the left mouse button can be used for an additional skill slot.)

Most people don't pick witch type characters because they want to attack.

The reason I asked for it to be put in soon is that wands are really the only weapon type that can't be put to good use right now. Even if you were to throw in something completely slipshod and temporary, players could get to work on a whole new category of characters. It should be done soonish, just to get these characters into the game, and it doesn't seem like much work.

I did forget about Frenzy, but that's still just a single-target skill. It would need to be multi-target without support gems.

What about a support gem called “Bouncing projectile” which causes projectiles (wand only) to bounce off the targeted monster at a random direction.

Skill lasts 6 seconds
Projectiles to 10% less damage each target/wall they hit (up to a maximum of 5 targets)

This would be pretty awesome.

I'm really looking forward to the new Int/Dex class and I'm planning to use a wand with (her?).

I love playing ranged characters, but there is a serious lack of ranged weapon choices in the game.

So even though it looks like the new class is supposed to use claws or daggers, I'm going to try using a wand instead (I just hope one day we get throwing daggers!).

Anyway, I'm going to try building a character that uses the Ranger's Evasion gear (and a shield) and who invests points into Evasion/Critical/and Wand damage.

If wands are going to get some type of AoE attack then that would be just perfect!

It does require explosion and electricity immunity. There is risk of catching fire too. But i can avoid most of that by staying in the air.

Another potential use of the wand is to enchant projectiles themselves with the ability to bounce off surfaces. By channeling the magical energy of the wand into the projectile, it gains the ability to ricochet off surfaces, making it difficult to predict its path and increasing its chances of hitting its intended target. This can be particularly useful in battles or hunting scenarios where accuracy and precision are of utmost importance. The magic wand of bouncing projectiles is also known for its ability to manipulate the trajectory of projectiles mid-flight. By carefully directing the magical energy of the wand towards a projectile in motion, the sorcerer or sorceress can alter its course, allowing them to hit targets that may be otherwise out of reach. This level of control over one's projectiles gives the wielder a significant advantage in combat or other situations where accuracy is paramount. In conclusion, the magic wand of bouncing projectiles is a powerful tool that allows sorcerers and sorceresses to manipulate the physical properties of projectiles. Its ability to create shields, enchant projectiles, and alter their trajectory makes it an invaluable asset in battle or other situations where accuracy and protection are essential. When used skillfully, this enchanted wand can turn the tides of a conflict and provide its wielder with a significant advantage..

Reviews for "From Trick to Skill: Unleashing the Potential of a Magic Wand with Bouncing Projectiles"

- Sarah - 2 stars - I was really excited to try out the "Magic wand of bouncing projectiles" as it sounded like a fun and unique toy. However, I have to say I was disappointed with my purchase. The wand itself felt flimsy and cheaply made, and after just a few uses, it started to fall apart. The bouncing projectiles it came with also didn't work as well as I had hoped, often failing to bounce or bouncing in unpredictable directions. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this toy as it didn't live up to my expectations and didn't provide the fun and entertainment I was looking for.
- Michael - 1 star - I regret buying the "Magic wand of bouncing projectiles" as it turned out to be a complete waste of money. The wand broke within minutes of using it, and it wasn't even durable enough for basic play. The projectiles were also disappointing as they didn't bounce well and lacked any significant power behind them. I expected much more from this product and was left feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. Save your money and look for a better alternative.
- Jessica - 2 stars - The "Magic wand of bouncing projectiles" did not meet my expectations at all. The wand itself felt very flimsy in my hands, and I was afraid it would break with just a little bit of pressure. The projectiles it came with were also disappointing as they didn't bounce very well, often just falling flat on the ground. The overall quality of this product was poor, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and durable toy to play with.
