1. Cathedral Rock
Cathedral Rock is one of the most photographed Red Rock formations on the south side of Sedona. The hike is somewhat short, 0.7 miles, but includes a fairly steep climb to a plateau with amazing, panoramic views of Sedona and the surrounding Verde Valley.
Jack and Annie are in awe of the magnificent creatures they have encountered. They observe the gorillas from a distance, careful not to disturb them. However, tragedy strikes when one of the gorillas is caught in a hunter's snare. Determined to help, Jack and Annie devise a plan to free the gorilla. Using their knowledge and ingenuity, they manage to set the gorilla free from the snare and watch as it rejoins its family. Grateful for their assistance, the gorillas show their appreciation by mimicking their actions. As the adventure concludes, Jack and Annie return to the Magic Tree House and report back to Morgan le Fay. She praises their bravery and resourcefulness, and rewards them by granting them a special token to remember their incredible experience with the gorillas. - Jane - 2/5 - I have been a long-time fan of the Magic Tree House series, but I was extremely disappointed with the 26th installment. The storyline felt incredibly repetitive and lacked the excitement and adventure that the previous books had. The characters also seemed one-dimensional and uninteresting. Overall, it was a letdown and I hope the next book in the series will be better.
