Slavs are the largest European ethnolinguistic group, scattered throughout Eastern, Central, and Southeastern Europe. Today, most of these people practice Christianity, but long before Christianisation, the native faith of the Slavic tribes was what we consider paganism today. This means the religion didn’t have an organized hierarchical structure with comprehensive oversight or distinctly defined scriptures. Furthermore, unlike their evangelized successors, ancient Slavs didn’t revere divinity through the archetype of one God. Instead, Slavs of that time had a firm belief that all unusual phenomena put in front of them were in one way or another encrypted in nature, where all answers can be found. That is why this pagan religion produced some of the most interesting stories which we now know as Slavic mythology.

It is now often seen as a form of entertainment, with magicians performing elaborate tricks and illusions to captivate audiences. Magic shows and performances have become immensely popular, with famous magicians like David Copperfield and Penn & Teller gaining worldwide fame. Magic tricks rely on principles of psychology, sleight of hand, and misdirection to create the illusion of supernatural abilities. Magicians use various props, such as cards, coins, and objects, to execute their tricks and leave the audience amazed and wondering how it was done. However, magic is not limited to stage performances. Some people believe in the existence of real magic, where individuals possess supernatural abilities to manipulate the natural world. These abilities, often referred to as "magical powers," can include telekinesis, mind reading, and levitation, among others. While there are anecdotal claims of such abilities, there is no scientific evidence to support their existence. In conclusion, magic is a complex and enigmatic concept that has intrigued humans throughout history. Whether as a form of entertainment or a belief in supernatural abilities, magic continues to captivate and mystify people. While stage magic relies on illusions and trickery, the existence of real magic remains a subject of speculation and wonder..
