Mister Magic
Pure dark magic from Grover Washington – a record that was a megahit back in the 70s, but which still sounds amazing many decades later! There's a sound here that's completely sublime – and the album is to Grover's career what the first 2 CTI sets by Bob James were to his – a stretched-out, masterpiece of sublime jazzy energy – served up with a really spacious sound overall! Grover's sharp-edged sax is at the lead of the set – but the album's also awash in electric piano work from Bob James – and backings that are as lean, clean, and soulful as the best on CTI from the time. Titles include the killer "Black Frost" – a track that we never tire of – plus the hit "Mister Magic", and the cuts "Earth Tones" and "Passion Flower". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(The back paste-on is a bit loose around the edges.)
Very Good
- Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
- May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
- May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
- May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
- This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Reviews for "The Evolution of Shaving: Introducing Magic Razorless Shave Cream"
1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magic razorless shave cream. The claims of a smooth and close shave without razor irritation were completely untrue in my case. Not only did I experience redness and irritation after using this product, but it also didn't remove all the hair on my legs. I had to go over multiple areas again with a razor, which defeated the purpose of using a cream that's supposed to replace the need for a razor. I definitely won't be repurchasing.
2. Mark - 1 star - I have sensitive skin, so I was excited to try the Magic razorless shave cream, hoping it would provide a gentle shaving experience. However, it ended up causing a horrible burning sensation on my skin. I had to rinse it off immediately, and even after that, my skin remained red and inflamed for hours. It's clear that this product is not suitable for people with sensitive skin, despite the claims on the packaging. I do not recommend it.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I wanted to love the Magic razorless shave cream, but it simply didn't live up to my expectations. The smell was overpowering and unpleasant, making the whole shaving experience quite off-putting. Additionally, it didn't remove all the hair on my legs, leaving some patches untouched. I had to follow up with a razor, which defeats the purpose of using a cream like this. I'll be sticking to traditional shaving methods from now on.
4. Jason - 3 stars - I have mixed feelings about the Magic razorless shave cream. While it did remove most of the hair effectively, it left my skin feeling incredibly dry and stripped of all moisture. I had to apply a thick layer of moisturizer immediately after rinsing it off. It's not a terrible product, but the drying effect it had on my skin is a dealbreaker for me. I won't be repurchasing.
