The Perfect Tool for Artists: Crayola's Magic Brush Paper

By admin

Magic Brush Paper by Crayola is a unique type of paper that has been designed to work with Crayola's Magic Brush Pens. The magic brush pens are special markers that have a built-in brush tip, allowing kids to create beautiful brush strokes and watercolor effects with ease. The magic brush paper is specially coated to react with the ink from the magic brush pens, creating vibrant, colorful designs. One of the key features of the magic brush paper is that it is mess-free. Unlike traditional watercolor paper that requires using water and paint brushes, the magic brush paper allows kids to simply use the magic brush pens, eliminating the need for additional supplies. This makes it a convenient and hassle-free option for young artists who may not have access to or the ability to use traditional watercolor materials.

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% Review And Ingredients

Finally time to review one of the most popular K-beauty serums – the Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% and see what every ingredient is for in this product. This is one of the first hyaluronic acid products that I’ve tried and my impressions are mixed after 2 months of using it regularly. Let’s get to all the nitty-gritty details!

Right away, let me tell you my skin type and main concerns. I’m in my late 20s and my skin type is combination. My T-zone is normal to oily and my cheeks and chin are normal to dry. As a rule, the oiliness of my T-zone is aggravated by certain foundations, skincare products, and in the summer, but even then it’s just a bit of shine, so I wouldn’t call it oily. The cheeks and chin are usually normal to dry (sometimes very dry, especially during the colder months). I am allergic to some artifical colorants and fragrance in skincare products – usually my skin gets itchy and flare up, more rarely I can get rash.

What I expect from a serum: deep skin hydration, increased speed of skin rejuvenation and healing, and, of course, I also expect a serum to work well with other products in my skincare routine. It also goes without saying that I expect a serum to be mild on the skin and not cause any irritation and allergy.

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% Review

The product promises to “Help the skin whitening. Help to relieve wrinkles” – that’s from the package. It also claims to be a powerful moisturizer and restore moisture balance of the skin.

Price: $7.70 on Amazon, $9.09 on Jolse (see my reviews #1 and #2 of this K-beauty eshop), and $12.80 on iHerb.

Used for: 2 months, twice a day

Packaging: glass 50ml bottle with a glass dropper, packed in a box with all the info. The product is very convenient to use.

Texture and consistency: watery, I’d compare it to a thin liquidy gel. The serum is completely transparent. A drop starts sliding on the skin immediately, while a thin layer of this serum stays in place for a while. The serum isn’t sticky or goo-ey, and it’s pleasant to apply. On the skin it feels almost like water or toner.

Scent: mild, but I wouldn’t say it’s faint. To me it reminds honey, but not sweet. Dissipates quite quickly after application

Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% Ingredients

The ingredient list of the Elizavecca Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% serum is short, but very interesting:

SODIUM HYALURONATE – hyaluronic acid, attracts moisture into the skin and helps maintain moisture balance. This is a natural substance that occurs in the skin, so it’s easily absorbed and effective (source)
NIACINAMIDE – vitamin B3, works as a resorative agent and pore-tightening agent, and a whitening agent (source)
1,2 HEXANEDIOL – synthetic preservative and moisture-binding agent belonging to a class of agents known as higher molecular glycols, considered non-sensitizing
PROPYLENE GLYCOL – humectant, which means that it attracts the water into the skin and helps reduce dryness and flakiness
PEG-60 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL – safe surfactant: it helps water mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away, leaving skin and hair clean
CARBOMER – safe thickening & emulsifying agent
ARGININE – natural antioxidant
ADENOSINE – generally considered very safe anti-wrinkle ingredient, also has skin-restoring and soothing properties, suitable for all skin types and very effective (source)
ALLANTOIN – soothes, moisturizes, promotes healing, improves dullness, rejuvenates the cells (read more here)
FRAGRANCE – perfume to mask the scent of the product and/or create a pleasant scent, common irritant

Except for the fragrance, none of the ingredients really indicate risks unless they are individual allergy triggers. I’ve researched PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil because some sources claim that this sustance can trigger fungal acne, however haven’t found solid evidence to confirm this claim. On the contrary, I’ve found a study that indicates the opposite. Despite that this product hasn’t caused any iritations on my skin, please keep in mind that everyone’s skin is different and the best decision is always to do as much research as you need to know whether this product is suitable for your skin.

Effect: I find this product quite enjoyable, and it really does what it claims – increases the level of moisture in the skin and helps keep it hydrated during the day. I have an excellent skincare routine at the moment and my skin is very moisturized and soothed (in particular, I wrote about my favorite toner, eye cream, and face cream earlier), and this product works well with all of them. However, when I used this serum under my Guerisson 9 Complex Cream (review here) I started noticing that my pores got dark quickly (I usually don’t get this issue because I follow the double-cleansing routine), they got noticeable, despite that this cream on its own doesn’t cause this issue. No acne or allergies though. My husband, who has very dry skin, used this serum almost on a daily basis too, and I didn’t notice his skin to get dramatically better. It did get more hydrated and smooth, but not enough for me to say that this product has swept us off our feet.

Overall, I just wasn’t wowed by this product. It’s good and does what it claims, but I think my skin isn’t dehydrated enough for me to feel a considerable difference. The ingredients are great. At the same time, the fact that this serum made my pores more visible combined with one of my creams indicates that it won’t work perfectly well with any other face products – and this is completely fine and understandable.

Efficiency: I need around 2-3 drops for my whole face compared to 1-2 drops of other, thicker consistency serums. Overall looks like a good cost-per-use product

Would I Repurchase? I think not – I want to try other serums when I finish this one. I got a sample of the SAEM serum with my Jolse order (unboxing & review here)

Do you use serums in your skin care routine? Have you tried this serum and if so, what is your opinion about it? I’d love to know!

This makes it a convenient and hassle-free option for young artists who may not have access to or the ability to use traditional watercolor materials. The magic brush paper is also highly versatile. It can be used for a variety of art projects, including painting, drawing, and coloring.

Overall Opinion:

Nearly everything about Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control face serum is as weird as the actual name of the face serum. From an extremely thick texture and horrible feeling on your skin, to the downright fact that is does NOTHING for your skin, this face serum is beyond puzzling.

With the price tag as low as it is, especially compared to the amount of product you receive, and with promises to minimize pores and brighten your skin, every single part of me wanted to love this face serum. Unfortunately, the results don’t warrant anyone loving this face serum, and the experience of actually using it is totally uncomfortable.

Witch Piggy Hell Pore Control fails to control, or improve, any aspect of your skin, and is definitely one you can pass on when shopping for your perfect serum.

Reviews for "Crayola's Magic Brush Paper: The Secret to Effortless Painting"

- Jane - 2 stars - I was really excited to try out the Magic brush paper by Crayola, but I was left disappointed. The paper did not absorb the watercolor paint well, and it ended up looking blotchy and uneven. The colors also didn't come out as vibrant as I had hoped. I would not recommend this product for anyone looking to create beautiful watercolor paintings.
- Mike - 1 star - I was extremely disappointed with the Magic brush paper by Crayola. The paper felt flimsy and thin, and it began to tear easily when I tried to apply the watercolor paint. The colors also bled through the paper, which made the artwork look messy and unappealing. It didn't live up to my expectations, and I would not purchase this product again.
- Sarah - 3 stars - I had mixed feelings about the Magic brush paper by Crayola. While the concept is interesting, I found that the paper was too rough and didn't allow the watercolor paint to glide smoothly. It also took a long time for the paper to dry, which made it difficult to work with. The colors did come out decently, but overall, I found the paper to be mediocre and wouldn't recommend it to serious artists.
