The Laughing Magic Northwest Highway is a popular destination for those seeking laughter and entertainment. This highway, located in the Northwest region, is known for its abundance of comedy clubs, theaters, and live performances that leave visitors in fits of laughter. The main idea is that the Laughing Magic Northwest Highway is a popular destination for entertainment and laughter. This stretch of road is home to some of the funniest and most talented comedians in the country. Visitors flock to the highway to experience the joy and sense of humor that permeates the atmosphere. Each comedy club along the highway offers a unique experience, ensuring that everyone finds something that tickles their funny bone.

I think it's just a coincidence that there are 7 pages in the horoscope. (The last page is only about half full.) Most of the spells can be used by any character. There are a few that are unique to a particular character; for example, Shiny Arc can only be used by Akko. The playable characters don't seem to have a particular affinity for a given element. Their element related bonuses seem to be tied to the equipment they are wearing. A ring or wand can give +10% to wind magic or -5% cooldown on wind magic for instance.

These idiosyncrasies were even more apparent to me when comparing the Harry Potter franchise to a Harry Potter-inspired series like Little Witch Academia. There is some overlap in the ethnicities and nationalities of the student bodies, but their composition nonetheless seems to reflect the area in which they are established in.

i'm really bad when it comes to magic, yes i see the correlation between my name and the game.

Combined with Spells, Horoscopes and Potions and items there's a lot of "stuff" going on.
normally in RPG's where there's magic i tend to play as an Archer or something else cause i find it easier.

Could you guys give me some advice on how horoscopes and magic works?

The horoscope thing basically controls which spells you have available and how strong each particular spell is. You have access to a few spells near the beginning, and then you unlock more as you complete activities in the game and level up the characters. Spells can be be used to attack enemies, heal yourself/allies, de-buff enemies, etc.

In combat, each character has 3 default attacks that do not consume MP, and 6 slots to which spells can be assigned as desired from the ones you have unlocked. The spells consume MP, which recharges over time, and you can obtain loot drop items which can increase your MP recharge rate in various ways. The spells are categorized generally by the 4 "elements" of earth, water, air, and fire. Different enemies have vulnerabilities or resistances to various elements, so it is often handy to have a mix of different ones in your magic slots.

That's a basic description of the system.

Ah ok so do any of the characters have bonuses for using different elements? Or is their a horoscope to match each of the girls? I noticed there's 7 horoscope pages and 7 girls. Or is that a coincidence?

There is a whole "enchant" system where you can add specific bonuses to higher quality items, if you know the crafting recipes. That can be accessed in one of the laboratory classrooms, but I have only modified a couple of pieces of equipment so far.

I wish the game had some kind of manual because there are so many mechanics that aren't really explained anywhere. There are 3 "schools" of magic: cardinal, fixed, and mutable, but it doesn't say what the differences are. The damage numbers you see in combat have different colors; red seems to be normal, blue seems to indicate the target has some kind of resistance, but sometimes I see yellow numbers and I have no idea what those mean.

There were a number of things that I grew up on that I still look at fondly today whenever I’m feeling particularly nostalgic. The fact that I didn’t need to work, the first anime that I didn’t know was anime that really gripped me, and the Harry Potter franchise. I always thought that it was neat that the books became lengthier, featured more complex plots, and progressed into something that took increasingly higher language chops to read through with each installment. As Harry grew up, so did his readers. Say what you will about the literary quality of these children to young adult novels (the epilogue admittedly reads like cheesy fanfiction), I remember reading and re-reading each volume, voraciously, from front to back. The paperbacks of the volumes I owned began falling apart, and some of them did (like that monster of the fifth book). I got into heated debates with myself and other fans about a number of franchise-related controversies, like how the books were better than the movies and about which character should be romantically paired with who. I laughed, cried, got embarrassed and smiled widely. The world and its characters brought me a sense of immersive pleasure that couldn’t compare to anything else at the time.
