I was really disappointed with the Amulet series. While the artwork is impressive, the story falls flat. I honestly don't understand the hype around the Amulet series. I found it incredibly boring and lacking in originality. I struggled to finish the first book and had no desire to continue with the rest of the series. There are so many better fantasy graphic novels out there, so I would suggest skipping this one.
