Good thing my bedtime is a little later than his, or else I d never have gotten my chance to read the latest installment of our son s favorite Amulet series so devoted is he that he keeps Books 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the back seat of the car for easy access, to pull out anytime to escape the second-worst-in-the-country, endless traffic. Book 5 definitely has intriguing uncertainty woven throughout, even as it reveals unexpected backstories of Max whose evil power is actually a result of desperately seeking justice when he was a young child and Trellis who goes back in time to return with important secrets.

Prince of the Elves (Amulet #5) by Kazu Kibuishi

Wow, I thought the last volume took a dark turn… this one was even darker.

At the beginning of this volume, we learn about Max Griffin’s backstory. As a boy, he tried to free a family of elves but he was caught and sentenced for aiding in the escape of war prisoners. Upon escaping, he begins to work with the elves to attack the council.

Meanwhile, in the current timeline, Em and the Elf prince train together. But things quickly take a turn when Trellis enters the void, forcing Em to go in after him. The two also learn a great deal about the stones and the voices.

Escape from Lucien (Amulet #6) by Kazu Kibuishi

In this volume, we see max convince the team to take on the voice. Unfortunately, Max was no match for the power of the voice. Max loses his life as the voice ages him forward until he is nothing but bones.

This may be my favorite book of the series! I loved that we really saw the team come together in this volume. We also met a wonderful new character that I can’t wait to see again! I also enjoyed that as a reader, we got to spend a lot of time with just Navin and his storyline!

Firelight (Amulet #7) by Kazu Kibuishi

In this volume, Em and Trellis continue to learn more about their curse and what role the shadows have been playing. When presented with memories in the void, Em falls to the power of the stone…

This one took a turn that I had been expecting, but dreading. I’ve got high hopes for the next book and I am certainly very interested to see how things progress from where we left things in this volume!

Thanks for reading!

Reviews for "Driving Innovation with Hitachi's Magic Event Data Storage"

- John Smith - 1/5 stars - I was really disappointed with the Hitachi magic evenr dtorahe. It was supposed to provide efficient storage, but it couldn't even handle basic file transfers without freezing up. The interface was also very clunky and outdated. I ended up returning it and opting for a different brand.
- Emily Johnson - 2/5 stars - Although the Hitachi magic evenr dtorahe had a good amount of storage space, I found it extremely slow and unreliable. It would often disconnect from my computer, causing me to lose important files. The overall quality just wasn't up to par with other storage devices on the market.
- David Thompson - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for the Hitachi magic evenr dtorahe, but it fell short in many aspects. The build quality was flimsy and the transfer speeds were incredibly slow. I also experienced compatibility issues with my operating system, which made it even more frustrating to use. I wouldn't recommend this product.
