"Can't use this ability while pacified"

2nd time this week i've gotten this error. While trying to use shoot or auto attack I get the message that I am pacified and can't use the ability. I can use skills, so i'm not deprived of much, but it's very annoying. Wanting to know why it does this and how to fix it. Thanks.

That's very odd. If I remember correctly, "Pacify" is a debuff used in situations like when you're near Alexstrasza after the Wrathgate event. I'm not sure how you'd encounter it around Stormwind.

Just in case you have something funky going on in your UI I'd recommend running a full Reset and Repair.

-------------------
I've included both Reset UI (User Interface) and Repair Tool instructions below. Follow both procedures in order, and then please play-test the issue before reinstalling any addons you use to make sure you get a clean test. Once all testing is concluded, please make sure that you only reinstall addons which are compatible with the latest version of World of Warcraft. This is particularly crucial after a patch when game functionality often changes. Thank you!

RESET UI INSTRUCTIONS:

Windows Vista/7
---------------------
-Right click the World of Warcraft shortcut and left click on “Open file location”
-Once the World of Warcraft folder opens up, please delete the INTERFACE, WTF, and CACHE folders. You can do this by highlighting each folder and pressing the Delete key. It is very important that you delete all three folders.

Windows XP
---------------
-Right click the World of Warcraft shortcut and left click on properties.
-Select the SHORTUCT tab and then left click on the FIND TARGET button.
-Once the World of Warcraft folder opens up, please delete the INTERFACE, WTF, and CACHE folders. You can do this by highlighting each folder and pressing the Delete key. It is very important that you delete all three folders.

Mac OS X
-----------
-Click on the desktop and then the Go menu on the top.
-Click Applications.
-Scroll down to World of Warcraft and select it.
-Right-click (Control+click if you own a 1-button mouse) on the Cache folder and select Move to Trash.
-Perform the above step for the Interface and WTF folder as well.

REPAIR TOOL INSTRUCTIONS:

PC
---
The Repair tool can usually be accessed in your Start menu under World of Warcraft. Otherwise, the Repair.exe file should be located in your World of Warcraft directory (example C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Repair.exe or C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft\Repair.exe for some Vista and 7 users).
If this file is not present you can download the latest version at: http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/WoW/other/Repair.zip . Be sure to unzip the file into your World of Warcraft directory and run it from there.

MAC
------
-Click on the desktop and then the Go menu on the top.
-Click Applications.
-Scroll down to World of Warcraft and select it.
-Run World of Warcraft Repair.app
-Click Repair in the lower right corner of the program

If this file is not present you can download the latest version at: http://ftp.blizzard.com/pub/WoW/other/MAC_Repair.zip. Be sure to unzip the file into your World of Warcraft directory and run it from there.

I was really disappointed with "Glamorize Magic Life". The book promised to take me on a magical journey, but it fell short in so many ways. The characters were underdeveloped and lacked depth, making it hard to connect with them. The plot was predictable and didn't offer any surprises or twists. The writing style was also quite lackluster, lacking descriptive language and failing to create a vivid world. Overall, I found "Glamorize Magic Life" to be a boring and forgettable read.

I cannot express enough how much I disliked "Glamorize Magic Life". The story was incredibly confusing, with poorly explained magic systems and a convoluted plot. I struggled to understand what was happening most of the time, and when I finally did, it didn't feel worth it. The characters were flat and uninteresting, lacking any real depth or growth. Additionally, the pacing was all over the place, with slow sections and rushed resolutions. I wouldn't recommend "Glamorize Magic Life" to anyone looking for a captivating and well-written fantasy novel.
3. Emily - 2 stars
I had high hopes for "Glamorize Magic Life", but it ended up being a big letdown. The world-building was unclear and inconsistent, making it hard to fully immerse myself in the story. The dialogue was also quite wooden and unrealistic, making it difficult to connect with the characters or care about their fates. The romance subplot felt forced and lacked chemistry. Overall, "Glamorize Magic Life" failed to deliver on its promises and left me feeling unsatisfied as a reader.
4. David - 1 star
"Glamorize Magic Life" was a complete waste of my time. The writing was sloppy and filled with grammatical errors, making it hard to take the story seriously. The characters were one-dimensional stereotypes without any real depth or complexity. The plot was also incredibly predictable, offering no surprises or twists to keep me engaged. I found myself counting down the pages until the end, just to be done with it. I wouldn't recommend "Glamorize Magic Life" to anyone who values well-crafted storytelling and compelling characters.
