DID SUKI HAVE HERPIES?

the link above pretty much tells you what a cold sore is, if that's the case why wasn't this discussed at all in the film?

i was thinking that when i watched it. Maybe Pfeiffer had a cold sore on the day of shootiing and couldnt do anything about it and had to carry on shooting.

Herpies is the virus that causes cold sores, so you cant have one without the other.

It was a good effect, it showed a physical manifestation of not only the tramua she was going through with the death of Felicia, but also the pain that Daryl was inflicting on her. Because everything was internalized, it was a good way to show her state.

I agree with jesseperez. I think it was a great way to show how much pain she was in. Some people breakout into cold sores when they are under extreme stress (or even just a bit of stress) - you can get cold sores which is a variant of the herpes virus without having had sex - Suki was clearly under a lot of stress and in a lot of pain so I just assumed the cold sore was just a result of that.

I agree with the stress bit from Felicia's death, but she had the sores before he started attacking them while watching the video. When he came by with the basket of fruit you can see the discoloration around her lips pretty clearly.

What was that thing on suki(m.Pfifer) lip. Was it a cold sore? if so does she have herpes

I was thinking the same thing, i wrote a post about it too, i think Daryl was putting some spell on her? I have watched this movie a lot of times and i still don't get that part.

You will recall that Darryl is watching the video tape of each woman saying what they feared the most. Jane says her fear is growing old and, for a brief second, she ages right before our eyes because of Darryl. Alexandra says she's afraid of snakes, she wakes up to a bed full of them courtesy of DVH. Sukie says she's afraid of getting sick and dying, Darryl makes her get sick. Now, like I said earlier, I thought he was giving her syphilis, which I think would cause more pain than herpes (but I could be wrong).

i doubt that Michelle actually has herpes. i think they just added it to make the "pain" more dramatic? Cos if she really did have herpes, i'd think there would be continuity issues during filming? hmm.. i dunno =\

She had the cold sore, in the beginning of the movie. You'll notice it, just watch.

OMG SHE HAS HERPES OMG OMG!

Herpes Simplex A (which is what causes cold sores) is a VERY COMMON problem. A LOT of people have it. It doesn't mean you're disgusting with a STI or something. Jeez people. If you had chicken pox when you were younger, you had herpes. Didn't you know that's a form too?

I do recall seeing a bump on her lip towards the beginning, however. Cold sores are a bitch, come on when you least expect it (stress, weather change, fever.. they're just as commonly called fever blisters), and must have been very uncomfortable for poor Michelle, not only to have in the first place, but to have covered up.

In one study, researchers tested witch hazel on children. The children had minor skin problems like diaper rash, itching, redness, and swelling.

Reviews for "How the Fisher Price Magical Looking Glass Sparks Curiosity and Adventure"

- Jane - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Fisher Price Magical Looking Glass. It promised to entertain and educate my child, but it fell short on both counts. The screen was too small and the graphics were not engaging at all. My child quickly lost interest and moved on to other toys. I also found the navigation and user interface to be quite confusing and not intuitive at all. Overall, I would not recommend this toy to other parents.
- Mark - 1 star - I regret buying the Fisher Price Magical Looking Glass for my child. The toy arrived with a faulty screen that had a large dead pixel right in the center. It was incredibly annoying and distracting for my child. Additionally, the pre-loaded content was incredibly limited and repetitive. After a few minutes of playing with it, my child quickly grew bored and moved on to other toys. I would not recommend this toy to anyone, especially considering the high price tag.
- Sarah - 2 stars - The Fisher Price Magical Looking Glass was a huge disappointment for my child. The educational content was subpar and did not provide any real value. The toy also had a very limited selection of games and activities, which quickly became repetitive and boring for my child. The overall design and functionality of the toy were also lacking. The buttons were unresponsive and the overall construction felt cheap and poorly made. Save your money and invest in a better educational toy for your child.
