Cherry Magi is an anime series that follows the story of a young girl named Sakura who discovers a magical book. In episode 2, Sakura begins to explore the powers of the book further. The episode starts with Sakura practicing her magic in her room. She learns a new spell that allows her to create flowers out of thin air. I’ll admit: Sarah Feinberg and I have a weirdly wonderful tradition. Exactly once a year, during the summer, I email her to ask if she wants to have a parenting check-in. As the episode ends, Sakura feels more confident in her abilities and vows to do whatever it takes to protect the magical world. She knows it won't be an easy task, but she is determined to become a powerful magician and fulfill her destiny. Overall, episode 2 of Cherry Magi focuses on Sakura's growth as a magician and her determination to protect the magical world. It introduces new challenges and hints at an upcoming battle that Sakura will have to face..
