1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Curse of Shadows and Thorns". The storyline was confusing and it jumped around so much that I couldn't keep up with what was happening. The characters were also poorly developed and I couldn't connect with any of them. Overall, this book just didn't live up to my expectations and I wouldn't recommend it.
2. John - 1 star - I couldn't even finish "Curse of Shadows and Thorns" because it was so boring. The pacing was incredibly slow and nothing exciting or interesting happened. The writing style was also very dull and lacked any kind of depth. I was really looking forward to reading this book based on the synopsis, but it turned out to be a major letdown.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - "Curse of Shadows and Thorns" had the potential to be a great fantasy novel, but it fell flat for me. The world-building was weak and inconsistent, and I found it hard to visualize the settings. The plot was predictable and lacked originality, making it hard for me to stay engaged.
