The Dark Power of Cassandea's Curse Revealed

By admin

The Curse of Cassandra, also known as the gift of prophecy, derives its name from Greek mythology. In the ancient myth, Cassandra was given the ability to see the future by the god Apollo. However, she was also cursed so that no one would believe her prophecies. Throughout history, numerous individuals have claimed to possess the curse of Cassandra. These individuals often make prophecies or predictions about future events that go unheard or ignored. The curse suggests a paradoxical situation where the ability to foresee the future becomes a burden rather than a gift.

The curse suggests a paradoxical situation where the ability to foresee the future becomes a burden rather than a gift. One famous example of the Curse of Cassandra is the story of the Trojan War. Cassandra warned her fellow Trojans about the impending danger of the wooden horse, but her prophecies were dismissed.

I know I'm going to regret this, but here goes. I agree with the OP, although it's not going to stop me from keeping the game. I'm on their side, I'm just not willing to let go of a game this promising over it.

There's nothing wrong with bringing the sexy. I feel like the OP would probably agree on that. The problem is when it's pointless and feels out of place (as it does here). The boobs are there to be boobs, they don't serve the plot, they don't contribute to character, and they feel really out of place with the rest of the game art - at least as far as I've gotten. For all I know it turns into tentacle porn in the third hour of play.

Now, I'm a big fan of boobs. I also like ice cream. But I don't want ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I don't want boobs in my face in every game I play. The sexy witch feels excessive to me, and I would prefer that her design was. let's just say a bit more restrained. I'm allowed to have that opinion.

There's nothing SJW about saying "Hey, you guys are in early access and this is a thing that bothers me". No one is trying to take your boobs away from you. You can find them everywhere. People who think they're a bit excessive in an otherwise cutesy pixel game can say that without it being some feminist crusade on their part.

Hell, they didn't even demand the removal of boobs from the game - just that they found them troubling and were voting with their wallet. I think they're allowed without people jumping up and down on them, and doing so is frankly what's actually childish in this thread. You disagree? Fine - disagree. You can do that without calling names, using BS idiot conservaspeak buzzwords that don't actually mean anything (what, exactly, is a "feminazi"? What's a "soyboy"?), or even being mean.

You can disagree with a reasoned argument. Like a freaking adult. Good lord, it's no surprise that people outside the hobby think video games are childish when, if someone says "I don't like this art" the immediate and overwhelming response it "GAAAAAHHH, FEMINITS SJW SOYBOYS TAKIN' MAH BOOOOOOOOOBIIIIIEEEEESSSSS"

You sound like ill-mannered children. If that's your intent, hey - more power to 'ya. Otherwise, think about learning how to better express yourself.

I know I'm going to regret this, but here goes. I agree with the OP, although it's not going to stop me from keeping the game. I'm on their side, I'm just not willing to let go of a game this promising over it.

It reminds us of the importance of listening to and considering different perspectives and possibilities.
