The Benefits of Playing with the Cubidi Magic Snake

By admin

The Cubidi Magic Snake Assembly Manual is a guide for constructing the Cubidi Magic Snake, a flexible puzzle toy that can be twisted and contorted into various shapes. The manual provides detailed instructions on how to assemble the Cubidi Magic Snake, step by step. It starts with a brief introduction, explaining the concept of the toy and its purpose as a recreational item. The manual then proceeds to lay out the necessary materials and tools required for assembly. It instructs the user to carefully unpack the Cubidi Magic Snake and inspect each individual segment. The next section of the manual focuses on the assembly process itself, providing clear and concise instructions on how to interlock each segment together to form a long, continuous chain.

Now, you need to bind a specific key to open the console. Here, we suggest the upper left key (above Tab, left to 1, below Escape). It has the tilde ( ` ) symbol on english keyboards. It bears another symbol in other languages, but it doesn't matter: it is the key. Alternatively, you might prefer to use another (less confusing) key, like 'F12'. Just check that it isn't used for something else.

They should not be used to gain an advantage in multiplayer environments , competitive or casual, unless all players are made aware and are in agreement. It goes without saying that these are intended to be used by individuals in a single player environment as a means to explore the game s mechanics, fool around, have some fun, and help players that may be stuck or frustrated.

The next section of the manual focuses on the assembly process itself, providing clear and concise instructions on how to interlock each segment together to form a long, continuous chain. The manual emphasizes the importance of following the instructions precisely and not skipping any steps to ensure that the Cubidi Magic Snake is properly assembled. It includes detailed illustrations and diagrams to aid in the understanding of the assembly process.

The Heroes Round Table

Wrongusername found a way to enable the cheat console & many of the cheats themselves for Heroes 5.

Go to your Heroes 5 Directory.

Open the Profiles Folder.

Inside you'll see file named autoexec.cfg

Make a backup copy of this file & put it in a different, safe place!

Use Notepad to open the autoexec.cfg file.

Then arrow down (or page down) to the bottom of the text in the file.

Type in: setvar dev_console_password = schwinge-des-todes

Then launch your game, you can bring up the console by hitting the tilde (~) key (the one right next to the number 1 on your keyboard).

The cheats are as follows:

add_army town nTownID, bUpgrade

Will fill all hero army slots with 10 creatures of town id specified. Second param is 0 or 1 which controls whether creatures are from upgraded dwellings or not.

Town ids:
HEAVEN = 0
PRESERVE = 1
ACADEMY = 2
DUNGEON = 3
NECRO = 4
INFERNO = 5

E.g.
add_army 5, 0
Will fill all hero army slots with 10 basic inferno creatures

add_army 4, 1 will fill hero army slots with 10 upgraded Necro creatures
add_all_spells

Gives all spells to currently selected hero. Bypasses all skills reqs, for usage also.

set_hero_luck_morale nLuck nMorale

Sets luck and morale base values for current hero. For ex set_hero_luck_morale 5 3

show_player_money playernumber
Outputs resource quantities of specified player into console. So you can spy on ai. E.g. show_player_money 2

show_hero_mp
Shows detailed movement point stats for currently selected hero - exact quantity, stats for currently plotted path(how many points it'll take).

add_exp quantity
Adds quantity xp to currently selected hero. E.g. add_exp 5000

clear_money
Sets all your resources to 0

add_gold quantity
Sets current gold to quantity and zeroes out other resources.

add_money quantity
Sets all resources except gold to quantity and sets gold to quantity*1000. So add_money 100 gives 100 of everything and 100000 gold.

The add_all_spells, add_money & add_army codes work really great. They will really get you out of most any jam.

Thanks again Wrongusername for finding this information & sharing it with us.

Heroes 5 Cheats Discovered!

Unread post by reynaert » 30 May 2006, 07:52

Ah, now I finally can get back to my campaigns where I needed a little editing to pass the game. (and editing forces the entire 1 gig data file to rewrite, meaning fragmented disk space, meaning lost performance)

I have probably offended you in this post. if you take it too harshly, it's your own responsability. I, for my part, never intended to.

I don't like cheats at first run, unless it's really hard and impossible to get past something important. However, since you need to change the cfg file to enable it, i probably won't. Not until after the campaigns if ever.

having a challange is one thing, having to repeat a map over and over again because of some evil thing, is a totally different thing

Why put cheats in main page?

i mean that people would get spoiled.

Anyway another cheat is extract the whole maps folder to ./data/ folder

and edit with notepad if needed. No need to import that back to the data.pak file or overwrite it in any way. Anyway this worked in the beta and the demo, haven't tried that in the full game though, but that shouldn't be different.

Anyway this wouldn't help in the "Agrael's decision" map, as it map revieled to be able to sail with that ship, which cannot scout the sea.I would comlete the Iferno campaign if I just had more time, but I'm too busy this week.

I think I'm gonna wait for the more 'standard' sort of cheats to arrive. You know, the 'nwcavertingoureyes' variety.

Looks like a dev mode standard access option to me. So they did put "cheats" in the game in the form of the dev mode.

I am not holding my breath, as I have no need for cheats, at least at the moment.

But just for curiosity's sake, why not?

thanks a lot for this info! its fun to pay HOMM in "sandbox" mode where you can explore all facets of the game quickly and easily. its usually more fun to mess around with the software than most games themselves.

Sorry to hear that. I've only used the add_all_spells, add_army & the add_money ones so far, and I haven't had a single problem … except if I type it in wrong and it doesn't work. No crashes, no slow-downs, only successful cheating!

Well, I don't know; since I didn't download or play the demo, I can only say for sure that the codes:

add_army
add_all_spells
add_money
add_exp

all work perfectly in the released game.

Okay I just found out to win a scenario you open the console and type:

This command is case sensitive so type it exactly as written. YEAH!

There's also the add skill command, the format for it is 'add_skill #'. To add an ability you have to add the basic skill that it appears under first then add the ability. It also seems like you can add every ability/skill to a hero even though it only list 6 ability and 3 skill per ability on the character information.
