Tickets and prices

Book a ticket in advance online or purchase tickets on the day at the ticket office. Ticket prices are different for peak and off peak visits:

  • Peak visits: weekends, bank holidays and events
  • Off peak: weekday (excluding bank holidays)

A ticket includes entry to:

  • All open public areas of the palace
  • The gardens, courtyards, the Maze and the Magic Garden (please check opening times).

During busy times such as school holidays and events, we advise booking online in advance. We also advise customers to check temporary route closures before booking tickets.
Dogs are not permitted within the palace gardens unless they are trained assistance dogs. This includes medical alert dogs.

Under 5's go free and do not need a ticket. Children aged 5-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
