The Black Apple Magic Mouse is a sleek, stylish, and innovative device that has revolutionized the way we interact with our computers. This wireless mouse is designed with a seamless, one-piece aluminum body, which gives it a premium look and feel. One of the standout features of the Black Apple Magic Mouse is its touch-sensitive surface. This multi-touch technology allows users to perform a variety of actions with simple gestures. You can scroll through documents and web pages, zoom in and out of images, swipe between pages, and navigate through your computer's interface with ease. These gestures make the user experience more fluid and intuitive.

I am wondering what fixes people have come up with for this problem.

I am wondering what fixes people have come up with for this problem.

Recently I noticed a blackish coloring of my fingers after working on my Mac. Curious, I ran my fingers across the the mouse pad, a smooth aluminum surface, and found it was covered with a black residue. I tried the Magic Mouse on a bright cardboard, I was surprised to discover that the residue came from the two tracks on the bottom of the mouse. Whatever material Apple used for the tracks, they don't seem durable. They are rubbing off and leaving this dark powder. It rubs off easier and noticeable if you use a hard surface for the Magic Mouse like I do.

I haven't heard of anyone having this problem with the Magic Mouse. I'm sure it's not an isolated issue given the complaints about discolored mouse pads. It's probably isn't a health hazard, but I'd rather not risk inhaling this stuff.

Are you sure it's not cruft and buildup from dust and whatever that is attaching itself TO the the little black tracks? I have to constantly scrape that crap off of my MM - using my fingernail. otherwise, I have NO issue with anything related to "black residue".

BTW, the issue is MUCH IMPROVED (read: less of an issue) since I switched to a leather deskpad/mouse pad.

Reviews for "Embrace the Dark Side with the Black Apple Magic Mouse"

I was really disappointed with the Black Apple Magic Mouse. Firstly, the design is not ergonomic at all, making it uncomfortable to use for extended periods of time. The lack of physical buttons also made it difficult for me to navigate and control my computer efficiently. Additionally, I found the scrolling to be very sensitive, often leading to accidental scrolling and frustration. Overall, I expected more from a product with such a reputation, and I would not recommend it.

I found the Black Apple Magic Mouse to be quite overrated. The touch-sensitive surface was not as responsive as I had hoped, and I frequently encountered delays or inaccuracies in my input. The lack of a traditional scroll wheel also made it less intuitive for me to navigate through documents or webpages. Furthermore, the battery life was disappointing, requiring frequent recharging. Considering the price of the mouse, I expected a much higher level of performance and functionality. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations.

The Black Apple Magic Mouse did not live up to its hype for me. The sleek design is nice, but it sacrifices ergonomics in the process. I found the mouse to be too flat, resulting in an uncomfortable grip for my hand. The lack of physical buttons was also a drawback, as I rely on right-clicking a lot when using my computer. Additionally, I experienced connectivity issues with the mouse, often having to reset it or reestablish the Bluetooth connection. Overall, I was disappointed with the performance and functionality of this mouse, especially considering its premium price.
