Curse of the Werewolf is not a great movie, but it is head and shoulders above anything from February, 2023 with the notable exception of Creature From The Black Lagoon.
I have never seen Island of Lost Souls, and am looking forward to the airing.
And, I hope joker was just living up to his moniker by up-thumbing more "Spawn of Svengoolie."

I'm just thrilled that ISLAND OF LOST SOULS is returning to Svengoolie after a nearly eight year absence!
It's one of Paramount's better horror films, filled with eerie atmosphere and bone chilling characters!

I beg to differ. I think that it is one of the few horror movies that transcends the genre. Experimental in structure, yes. Intentionally? I am not so sure. Perhaps it was a combination of a "happy accident" due to the strange censorship issues and a very inspired Terence Fisher. Just a beautiful film to look at and listen to.

First of all, the doll's hair started falling out after just a couple of days of play. Secondly, the doll's ice cream cone would not stay attached to her hand, which frustrated my daughter to no end. Lastly, the doll's supposed "magic scooping" feature didn't work at all. No matter how many times we tried, the doll failed to eat the play ice cream and instead just made a mess. Overall, this doll was a waste of money and a major letdown.
