Asu's colors and mascot are just not appealing to me at all. The maroon and gold combination is quite dull and lacks excitement. I prefer vibrant and energetic colors that make a statement. Additionally, the mascot, Sparky, is not very inspiring or intimidating. It doesn't evoke any strong emotions or sense of school pride. I believe a university's colors and mascot should represent the spirit and character of the institution, and unfortunately, Asu falls short in this aspect.

I have to say, Asu's colors and mascot are a complete disappointment. Maroon and gold simply don't go well together and the combination looks dated and unattractive. In comparison to other universities that have bold and visually appealing color schemes, Asu just doesn't measure up. Moreover, the mascot, Sparky, looks more like a cartoon character from a children's show rather than a symbol of strength and competitiveness. I just can't get behind these colors and mascot choice, they leave a lot to be desired.

I think Asu could benefit from reevaluating their color scheme and mascot to create a more attractive and engaging visual identity.
