Bewitching the Woods: Unraveling the Mysteries of Forest Curses

By admin

In the depths of the enchanted forest, a wicked witch lurks, her dark powers coursing through her veins. With a heart as black as night, the witch unleashes her curse upon the innocent woods, bringing forth chaos and despair. Once a realm of harmony and serenity, the woods now tremble with fear. The once-lush foliage now withers away, leaving behind a barren wasteland. The birds, once singing melodies of joy, now cower in silence, their wings unable to take flight. The forest creatures, once playful and free-spirited, now scamper in fear, their eyes filled with terror.

  • Boxed items are listed as "code/code" where the first code represents the box, and the second code describes the contents. When only one condition is listed, then the box and contents are in the same condition.
  • A "plus" sign indicates that an item is close to the next highest condition. Example, EX+ is an item between Excellent and Near Mint condition. A "minus" sign indicates the opposite.
  • Major defects and/or missing components are noted separately.
  • Boardgame counters are punched, unless noted. Due to the nature of loose counters, if a game is unplayable it may be returned for a refund of the purchase price.
  • In most cases, boxed games and box sets do not come with dice.
  • The cardboard backing of miniature packs is not graded. If excessively worn, they will be marked as "card worn."
  • Flat trays for SPI games are not graded, and have the usual problems. If excessively worn, they will be marked as "tray worn."
  • Remainder Mark - A remainder mark is usually a small black line or dot written with a felt tip pen or Sharpie on the top, bottom, side page edges and sometimes on the UPC symbol on the back of the book. Publishers use these marks when books are returned to them.

How to solve the Disney Dreamlight Valley Mystical Cave puzzles

Here’s how to complete the three puzzles to bring down each Magic Gate in the Disney Dreamlight Valley Mystical Cave.

Solve these Disney Dreamlight Valley Mystical Cave puzzles to descend into the cave, retrieve the Orb of Power, and complete the ‘With Great Power…’ quest. The Mystical Cave, which Ursula provides the Crystal Key for, has three Magic Gates that block your progress, so you'll have to solve their riddles to deactivate them and reach the bottom of the cave. Thankfully, these riddles aren’t particularly tricky, but you'll need a few specific Disney Dreamlight Valley items, so knowing what to bring beforehand will save you time. Here’s how you can complete the three Disney Dreamlight Valley Mystical Cave puzzles to get the Orb of Power.

  1. Colored gem puzzle to remove the first Mystical Cave Magic Gate
  2. Crop growing puzzle to remove the second Mystical Cave Magic Gate
  3. Cooking puzzle to remove the third Mystical Cave Magic Gate

The forest creatures, once playful and free-spirited, now scamper in fear, their eyes filled with terror. The witch's curse has cast a shadow over their once peaceful world, shrouding it in darkness. The trees weep, their leaves turning a dismal shade of gray, as if reflecting the sorrow that now blankets their home.

Later on, you'll need to collect Disney Dreamlight Valley Falling Water and an Ice Heart for Merlin's final quest

After entering the cave, you’ll follow the path as it spirals down to the first Magic Gate. There are three statues near the gate, each with brightly colored stones in their necklaces. To solve this puzzle and bring down the gate so you can progress, you need to place a gem in the hands of each statue that matches the color of the statues’ necklace stone. If you think you've got the correct gem, just interact with the statue and then drag and drop the gem into the slot from the inventory menu. Here are the gems you need to complete the puzzle:

  • Green stone statue = Peridot, mined from mineral veins in the Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach.
  • Blue stone statue = Aquamarine, mined from mineral veins in Dazzle Beach and the Forest of Valor.
  • Red stone statue = Garnet, mined from mineral veins in the Plaza starting area and the Peaceful Meadow.

Gems are collected using your Pickaxe - one of the Disney Dreamlight Valley Royal Tools - to mine the dark mineral veins from rock walls in specific biomes. While gems are a random drops from mineral veins, sometimes the veins have colored shards poking out, which will tell you which gem you’re guaranteed to get. If you're looking around Dazzle Beach for gems, be on the lookout for Disney Dreamlight Valley seaweed too, as you'll need it for crafting and other quests!

Once you place the three gems in hands of the Mystical Cave statues with the corresponding necklace colors, the Magic Gate will deactivate and you can move onto the next puzzle.

Witch cursing the woods

The witch's curse has severed the connection between the forest and its life force. The rivers, once teeming with clear, crisp water, now stagnate and turn murky, mirroring the wickedness that resides within the witch's soul. The flowers, once vibrant and blooming with colorful petals, now wilt and fade away, unable to withstand the weight of the curse. But amidst the despair, a glimmer of hope remains. Deep within the heart of the forest, a small group of brave souls gather, determined to break the witch's curse and restore the woods to its former glory. Armed with bravery, wit, and a sense of unity, they embark on a treacherous journey. With each step forward, the group faces the witch's tricks and obstacles, testing their resolve to the limit. The witch's presence looms over them, a constant reminder of the darkness that threatens to consume their world. Yet, fueled by their unwavering determination, they press on, refusing to let the witch's curse claim victory. As they near the heart of the forest, the group discovers a hidden wellspring of ancient magic. With great caution, they tap into its power, the strength of their unity amplifying its potency. Channeling the magic, they unleash a wave of positive energy, overwhelming the witch's curse. Slowly, but surely, the woods begin to heal. The barren landscape blossoms with newfound life, as the trees regain their emerald hue and the flowers dance in a kaleidoscope of colors. The birds take to the skies once more, their songs filling the air with melodies of joy. The curse that once held the woods captive is broken, shattered into a million pieces by the collective spirit of a united community. The witch, realizing her defeat, slinks away into the shadows, her dark powers no match for the enduring power of love, unity, and the resilience of nature. And so, the woods stand as a testament to the indomitable spirit of those who refuse to be consumed by darkness. They remain a symbol of hope, reminding all who venture through their enchanted embrace, that even in the face of evil, light will always prevail..
