As someone who is fascinated by magic and witchcraft, I was excited to dive into a comic series that explored these themes. However, the portrayal of Wicca in these comics felt stereotypical and cliché. It seemed like the creators relied heavily on outdated tropes and superficial understanding of Wiccan beliefs. Overall, the writing felt lazy and poorly researched, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and let down.
2. Ryan - 2 out of 5 stars - I had high hopes for "Wiccan comics" based on the intriguing premise and beautiful artwork. Unfortunately, the execution fell flat for me. The storytelling felt disjointed and lacking in depth. The characters lacked development and their actions often made little sense. Additionally, the dialogue felt forced and unnatural, making it difficult to fully engage with the narrative. While the visuals were impressive, they couldn't compensate for the weak writing and overall lackluster experience.
