A treacherous curse can be one of the most dangerous and unpredictable things to encounter. It is a curse that is known for its deceitful nature, often appearing harmless at first but then revealing its true destructive power. This type of curse often targets individuals and aims to bring them harm, often in the form of misfortune or illness. The treacherous curse is characterized by its ability to masquerade as something else. It may take the form of a seemingly friendly object or even a person. This makes it difficult to detect or protect oneself against.

This makes it difficult to detect or protect oneself against. This curse preys on its victims' vulnerability, catching them off guard when they least expect it. Once the treacherous curse takes hold, its consequences can be severe.

Anyone notice that the costume turns the characters hair purple?

I don't know if it's the hat doing it. or the costume. I've only previewed it, not purchased.

Seems to be only if you don't use "Hide your helm" option. I'm not much into hats/head armor, so hair is normal for me.

Ah, good. I don't use hats much either. I wonder if the hair color changes depending on the color of the hat?

March 9 Good question. I'll have to check on that later.

March 9 Thank you, much appreciated. March 9

It doesn't change the hair color. The purple part (yellow circle) is some type of hair bonnet. The red circle is my character's hair (blonde).

Why they gave the costume a hair bonnet is a different question, though.

Yes, the "bonnet" part does change color with the hat.

Could be. I still think it looks more like hair, and since most hats override the hairstyle, i think someone goofed and that part of the "hat" doesn't recognize the players hair color so it defaults to the hat color. Dunno. Could be wrong and it could be an intentional part of the hat. If so, then bad call on the designers part.

I see the bonnet now. You are right emilyhyoyeon. I couldn't see the seam on the back.
Thank you both.

I was actually really looking forward to this costume. The bonnet thing at the back is extremely disappointing to me. I REALLY don't want to wear a shower cap under my hat.

This irks me in the same way that gaudy, over-the-top tassets irk me; the way they make most hats completely remove your hair.
I don't understand the continued use of this aesthetic, when the Wolfhunter hat (as one example) simply alters one's hairstyle a bit, but leaves your hair on your head and visible.

This is what the Barbaric Windblown hairstyle looks like with the Wolfhunter hat on.

I believe that the Witch’s Infernal Hat from completing Witches Festival Writs also displays the hair. If I remember correctly.

Also, since i don't really use hats much, can you use a different hat with a costume that comes with one, or is it locked to the matching hat?

thankfully you can use a different one. The witch hat is a good alternative, good idea. The costume is otherwise really nice I think, I like it a lot

I guess I will be getting the costume as well. I really like the look of it. Without the hat and some color changes, It would make for some nice fancy adventuring gear. Kind of reminds me of outfits from movies like Three Musketeers, that time period and area.

I like the costume but don't care for the included hat. No hat or any other hat works fine.

The costume itself seems to dye nicely. The silk shirt is one dye slot. The tunic, forearm part of the gauntlets and leg part of the boots is one dye slot. The pants, bracelets, belt, fingers and feet are one dye slot.

I'm pretty sure the hair has to be modeled with the hat. This is why if you change through all your hairstyles, while wearing a hat, some hats will only show up to three or four different styles (and usually not the one you're actually using), some will only have a single style, and some will just replace hair with something else entirely (like a shower cap/bonnet).

The costume does look good without its hat.
