PopcornGirl12 in a Nutshell

I am a somewhat middle aged, happily married woman who was ready for something “new” to do with my life. After the company I did data work for closed (July 2009) and not wanting to go back into an office or retail job I had finally decided on something I can do that I enjoy. This blog! It will help me to not write the cookbook I’ve been talking about for a while now! This is much easier than writing a book! I am getting to know so many fellow bloggers who have incredible sites! It’s fantastic all the food out there! In March 2012 I finally had to actually get a real job again. I worked for a company in West Palm Beach. Being it was a regular job I had less time to write my blog so it isn’t being published as much as before. Then in 2017 I was laid off and had a couple temporary jobs but finally found steady work again in 2018. It’s been a rollercoaster for sure.

I live in Hobe Sound, FL with my husband John and we are now petless. Gus left us in July 2017 and Toonces in January 2012, we miss them both so much. We have lived here in sunny Florida since November 2000. We are Long Island, NY natives and that part of us will never change. We do not regret moving down here one bit though! What’s to regret? Sunshine and warm temps (most of the time) and no snow to shovel or ice to scrape! Ok an occasional hurricane or two (this is getting tiresome now with 5 in the last 13 years!) shows up but they are rare. Not freezing while putting up Christmas decorations is always a good thing!

I do not have any children of my own but I do have a stepson (John) who made me a grandma back in 2008! Unreal! I have 8 nieces and 3 nephews! They are all beautiful, talented, smart and wonderful and range in age from 8-25. Needless to say they keep us all busy!

Whenever we get a chance John and I love to travel. We’ve taken many cruises and love exploring any chance we get. A favorite place is the family house up in Naples, Maine. We even traveled for our April 2004 wedding in Las Vegas! Cousins Linda and Kim were there to share in the occasion! Another adventure! We love the laid back lifestyle and may even move to Latitude Margaritaville in the Daytona/Ormond Beach area in the near future!

So besides travel, I love to cook (and eat) as you will see. I try to make new recipes as much as possible! The only thing I do not like about cooking is cleaning up!!

So enjoy the blog and feel free to comment! Let me know if there are any recipes you want to see and I will do my best to get them on here! Thanks again and mangia!

As soon as the ogre witnesses this, Puss exclaims that his master is now a mouse and implores the ogre not to eat him. The ogre, believing that Puss speaks the truth, releases the mouse. Puss then reveals his master's true identity and claims that the ogre's castle is full of hidden treasure that only his master can reveal. Excited by this prospect, the ogre agrees to accompany Puss and his master to the castle. Upon reaching the castle, Puss directs his master to reveal various treasures hidden within, all while the ogre is under the impression that these items belong to him. The ogre's greed blinds him to the reality that the treasures are conveniently placed by Puss in Boots. Finally, during a meal, Puss offers the ogre a humble meal of magic beans, claiming that they possess extraordinary powers. The ogre, intrigued by the notion of acquiring even more power, eagerly devours the beans. As a result, he transforms into different animals and in the process, finally jumps out of the window and perishes. With the ogre out of the picture, Puss and his master claim the castle, riches, and newfound status as their own. They live happily ever after, thanks to the clever and resourceful actions of Puss in Boots. In summary, the use of magic beans in "Puss in Boots" serves as a clever tool for the cat to manipulate the ogre and secure his master's future. It showcases Puss's cunning intelligence and his ability to achieve seemingly impossible feats. Moreover, it adds an element of fantasy and wonder to the tale, captivating readers of all ages..

Reviews for "The Magic of Puss in Boots' Beans: Unveiling the Mysteries"

I was really disappointed with "Puss in Boots: Magic Beans". I found the storyline to be extremely dull and predictable. The humor, which was supposed to be a major highlight, fell flat for me. The characters lacked depth and seemed one-dimensional. Overall, I felt like the movie was a waste of my time and money. I would not recommend it to anyone.
2. Sarah - 2 out of 5 stars
"Puss in Boots: Magic Beans" was a letdown for me. The animation was decent, but the plot felt disjointed and rushed. The humor seemed forced and didn't elicit many laughs from me. The characters weren't developed well, and their motivations were unclear. It lacked the charm and magic that I expected from a Puss in Boots movie. Overall, I feel like it was a missed opportunity to create a captivating and entertaining film.
3. John - 1.5 out of 5 stars
I had high expectations for "Puss in Boots: Magic Beans," but unfortunately, it fell short. The storyline was weak and lacked originality. The dialogue was cheesy and uninspired, making it difficult to become emotionally invested in the characters. Additionally, the pacing felt off, with certain scenes dragging on for too long while others felt rushed. Overall, I found it to be a forgettable film that failed to capture the magic of the original Puss in Boots movie.
4. Emily - 2 out of 5 stars
As a fan of the original Puss in Boots film, I was disappointed with "Puss in Boots: Magic Beans". The plot seemed contrived and uninteresting, making it difficult to stay engaged. The jokes also fell flat for me, lacking the cleverness and wit that I enjoyed in the first installment. Although the animation was visually appealing, it wasn't enough to save the overall experience of the movie. I would recommend skipping this one if you're looking for a captivating and entertaining film.
