1. Emma - 2 stars: I found "Matilda the Witch" to be quite disappointing. The writing felt very rushed and the story was quite predictable. The characters lacked depth and I didn't feel any connection to them. Additionally, the dialogue felt forced and unnatural. Overall, I was not impressed with this book and would not recommend it.
2. David - 1 star: "Matilda the Witch" was one of the worst books I have ever read. The plot was extremely weak and the writing was amateurish at best. The characters were one-dimensional and the dialogue was cringe-worthy. I couldn't wait for the book to end and I regret wasting my time on it. I would not recommend this book to anyone.
3. Sarah - 2 stars: I had high hopes for "Matilda the Witch" but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The story was unoriginal and lacked depth. The characters were forgettable and I didn't feel invested in their journey. The pacing was also off, with parts of the book dragging on while others felt rushed. Overall, I was disappointed with this read and would not recommend it.
4. Alex - 3 stars: While "Matilda the Witch" wasn't necessarily bad, it wasn't anything special either. The writing was average and the story was predictable. I found it difficult to connect with the characters and the plot didn't offer any surprises. It was a mediocre read that didn't leave a lasting impression. I wouldn't actively recommend it, but it might still be enjoyable for readers looking for a light fantasy read.
5. Jessica - 2 stars: "Matilda the Witch" was a letdown for me. The concept had potential, but the execution fell flat. The pacing was uneven, with long stretches of boredom followed by rushed action scenes. The characters felt underdeveloped and their motivations were unclear. I struggled to stay engaged with the story and was ultimately disappointed by the lack of depth. I cannot recommend this book.
