Some of the bands that performed at this place during those great years of NW music were:

Pete Carraba on trumpet, Bill Kotick on drums, Norm Hoagy on sax, Lola Sugia on vocals, Al Wied on bass and Ernest Rosa on piano.

One of the acts who played there in the early 60's was Little Willie John. Little Willie was the guy who had a hit with "Fever" in 1956/57. Of course, Peggy Lee had a hit with the song too with some updated female lyrics. The last time Little Willie performed here in the 60's he got into a fight after the show and killed someone. Willie was sent the the WA state prison at Walla Walla where he died years ago.

On October 16 and 17, 1964, Seattle's Magic Inn nightclub (6th Avenue & Union Street) hosts the famed 1950s rhythm & blues singer Little Willie John (1937-1968) for a rollicking weekend engagement. His arrest for homicide by the Seattle Police Department several hours after the second show makes that gig among John's last performances.

1. Jane - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to try out the "Magic Door Cabinet" as I had heard so many great things about it. However, I was left disappointed. The cabinet did not live up to its name as the doors were difficult to open and close. The mechanism was flimsy and I had a hard time getting it to work properly. Additionally, the quality of the wood used felt cheap and not sturdy at all. Overall, I would not recommend this cabinet.
2. Michael - 1/5 stars - This "Magic Door Cabinet" was a complete waste of money. The doors were extremely difficult to open and close, and I had to constantly fiddle with the mechanism to get it to work. Not to mention, the cabinet arrived with several scratches and dents on it, which is unacceptable for the price I paid. The overall design was also lackluster and unattractive. I ended up returning it and purchasing a different cabinet from a different brand.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for the "Magic Door Cabinet" but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The doors were quite flimsy and didn't feel secure when closed. I was also disappointed with the amount of storage space inside the cabinet. It seemed much smaller than what was advertised. Additionally, the assembly instructions were confusing and I had trouble putting the cabinet together. Overall, I was left unsatisfied with my purchase.
