I was warned, going in, that this book is very different to the sister’s most recent book, A THRONE OF SWANS. I loved that book, so wanted to read their earlier books. The friend I borrowed the books from warned me that they have grown a lot as writers since THE WITCH’S KISS, and that I shouldn’t expect the same sort of writing or story.

I have no idea where the sequel is going to go and I almost wish Jack and Gwydion hadn t been killed off so quickly they were brilliant characters and I wanted to see more of them. We have Merry, a sixteen year old struggling witch; Leo, her older and amazingly supportive brother I loved seeing a brother-sister relationship where they actually hung out and liked being around one another.

The Witch's Kiss (The Witch's Kiss Trilogy, Book 1)

Can true love's kiss really save the day. Electrifying dark magic debut by authors and sisters Katharine and Elizabeth Corr.

Merry used to dabble in witchcraft and her gran runs the local coven - but, apart from that, she and her brother Leo are normal teenagers. So when Jack, a cursed prince, wakes beneath a nearby lake after 1,500 years, Merry is shocked to learn that she's inherited the job of dealing with him. Aided by Leo, Merry tries to manage her power and figure out a way of breaking the curse. But as she gets to know Jack she realises she wants to save him - not destroy him. Will Merry lose her life as well as her heart? Or can true love's kiss really save the day?

Reviews for "The Magical Bridge Palo Alto: A Catalyst for Inclusivity in Play"

1. Jane - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Magical Bridge Palo Alto". The park looked beautiful in the pictures, but when I visited, it was extremely crowded and chaotic. There were so many children running around, and it was impossible to find a quiet spot to relax. Additionally, many of the playground features were broken or in need of repair. Overall, I found it to be overcrowded and not well-maintained.
2. Mark - 1 star - I had high hopes for "Magical Bridge Palo Alto", but it was a complete letdown. The park was overcrowded with kids running wild, and it seemed like there was no supervision or control. The play structures were dirty and in poor condition, making me question their safety. It was also difficult to find parking nearby, and the overall environment was chaotic and noisy. I would not recommend this park to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable experience.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - I found "Magical Bridge Palo Alto" to be an underwhelming experience. The park was packed with families, and it was challenging to find a spot to sit and relax. The equipment was outdated and not well-maintained, with broken swings and peeling paint. The lack of shade also made it uncomfortable to spend a long time in the park, especially on hot days. Overall, I was disappointed with the condition of the park and the lack of an enjoyable atmosphere.
