Rise of Iggwolv: The Witch Quern's Influence in the World of D&D 5e

By admin

Iggwolv the witch is a powerful character in the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition (5e). Known for her mysterious and enchanting powers, she is often referred to as the "witch quern" due to her affinity for magic and her strong ties to the supernatural. Iggwolv is an ancient being, with her origins dating back centuries. She is said to have harnessed her magical abilities through years of intense study and experimentation. Her knowledge of the arcane is extensive, making her a formidable opponent for any adventurer who dares to cross her path. One of the most intriguing aspects of Iggwolv's character is her use of a magical artifact known as the quern.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Iggwolv's character is her use of a magical artifact known as the quern. This enchanted object, resembling a millstone, amplifies her magical powers and allows her to manipulate energy in unprecedented ways. With the quern in her possession, Iggwolv can cast potent spells, control the elements, and even alter reality itself.

(This thread may have been more suited for "Off Topic", but it wouldn't let me make a new thread there, so "Controllers" was the next best choice.)

The Mayflash Magic-NS controller adapter lets a Wii Remote connect to the Nintendo Switch. You can also use the nunchuck and classic controllers with it and the vibration works.

I want to use the Wii Remote to play Super Mario Galaxy in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, but it doesn't work because it requires motion controls. The Magic-NS isn't detecting the accelerometer in the Wii Remote or the gyro in the Wii Motion Plus attachment. (I would assume that the accelerometer wouldn't work well as a pointer anyway.) I contacted Mayflash about adding Wii Remote motion controls to the adapter in a future update, but they said that motion controls for the Wii Remote weren't "compatible" with the adapter. They either meant that it isn't possible, or that it wasn't compatible at the present.

So, to get to my question, is it possible to mod the Magic-NS to use the Wii Motion Plus? I assume any bluetooth module would be able to support the Wii Motion Plus. If so, could a software mod be installed over the latest firmware, or could the latest firmware be altered? I was hoping that the users who contributed to the Dolphin Emulator Wii Motion Plus implementation may be able to help due to their experience with the Wii Remote tech.

I don't know if it's possible, but more importantly I know no one has done anything like that with the Magic-NS (or the 8bitdo USB adapter). My question though is why not just buy a Bluetooth adapter that can already do what you need? I've personally had good luck with the Ugreen 4.0 adapter and Bluetooth passthrough

When you said you had good luck with that adapter, what did you mean?

Are you saying that I would be able to use Wii Motion Plus motion controls with the Nintendo Switch by using this Ugreen adapter?

Ah I'm sorry, I read your post too fast and misread it. I saw Super Mario Galaxy and since this is a forum for the Dolphin emulator I thought you meant you wanted to play that game in Dolphin. So what I meant was, I've had good luck using that adapter in Dolphin, specifically with Bluetooth Passthrough.

I think you are out of luck for using a Wiimote on a Switch with motion control, unless maybe your Switch is modded.. If you have a modded Switch, there's a homebrew app called MissionControl that allows you to use other controllers natively. This includes Wii U Pro controllers, Xbox One controllers, PS4 and 5 controllers, as well as Wiimotes. The current latest version 0.7.0 mentions this:

Now I've never used this program myself so I don't really know how this works exactly, but as far as I know this might be your only option.

The 8 functional buttons on your controller can be set for Turbo and Auto Fire. You can get more detailed settings from MAYFLASH web.
