Unleashing the Power of the Fox: How Mascot Garb Can Boost School Spirit

By admin

The fox mascot is a popular choice for many sports teams and organizations. To bring the fox to life, a specially designed mascot garb is created. This garb typically consists of a full-body suit that resembles a fox, complete with a headpiece, body suit, and tail. The headpiece is perhaps the most important part of the fox mascot garb. It is typically made from a lightweight material to ensure comfort for the wearer. The headpiece is designed to resemble a fox's head, with features such as ears, eyes, and a snout.

I never saw her but I know a few who have.

This team is helmed by Kostya Kimlat, who was called one of the best magicians we have in the world today by Penn Jillette, of the legendary duo Penn Teller. The biggest compliment that we ever get after our shows is that the audiences can really see from the moment Justin and I set foot on stage our raw passion and enjoyment for what we do, plus the completely natural way we are able to bounce off one another and the synchronicity of everything we do.

The headpiece is designed to resemble a fox's head, with features such as ears, eyes, and a snout. The eyes of the headpiece are often made with mesh or other breathable materials to allow the wearer to see out. The body suit of the fox mascot garb is usually made from a plush material to give the costume a furry appearance.

Have a Gander – The Greatest Magic Show/ Adults Only Magic Show

Unlike anything you’ll spy at the Festival Fringe this year, the multi-award-winning sensation of The Greatest Magic Show brings unique routines, fun, and tricks back to Edinburgh after a successful 2022.

With more whimsy than before, the team travelled Australia and New Zealand before their Scottish return, as they hit the stage with their brand-new illusions straight from Vegas.

But come back after dark, and the audience is in for a more ‘Adult’ treat as the magical duo jam-pack their after-dark special with raucous comedy, dangerous stunts, and maybe just a cheeky glimpse of some flesh.

Would you mind giving us a brief insight into what your show is?

We are bringing two shows to the Edinburgh Fringe this year that definitely cover both ends of the spectrum!

Our Family Show, The Greatest Magic Show, was created as a family magic show unlike any other that was currently out there in terms of the uniqueness of the routines, comedy, magic, and the pure scale of the show and production.

The Ringmaster (played by Magnus Danger Magnus) commences the show with a story told through song in which he explains he has travelled far and wide to find The Greatest Magic Show but after being unable to, he decided to make his own instead! A rollercoaster ride of spellbinding magic involving the two magicians, as well as the ringmaster at times, sees all sorts of craziness ensue including incredibly Vegas-style illusions, giant pairs of underpants on faces, a child from the audience being transformed into a magician themselves, and an inspiring finale in which we encourage all the kids (and big kids) in the audience to pursue whatever they want in life no matter how weird or different their dreams may be.

Our 18+ show, Adults Only Magic Show, is essentially exactly as it sounds – an incredibly impressive magic show with adults only humour at every twist and turn! We have taken the very best effects in the business and compiled them all into this 65-minute performance where everything is combined with 18+ humour and whit throughout all of the routines. Both our favourite magicians growing up were Penn & Teller, and this show shares the same style of Adults Only humour as displayed by the world-famous duo. We have the very best of mentalism, close-up magic, illusions, and an extremely dangerous routine in which both Justin and I both race to escape with the loser quite literally having to ‘reveal all’.

Last year saw standing ovations nightly for the Adults Show – we can’t wait to be back on stage in front of our beloved Edinburgh audiences!

Tell us about the creative team and process involved?

We are Showmen Productions – an independent production company based in Melbourne, Australia. I am one of the co-founders along with my director, co-performer, and best friend Justin!

We first met back in 2012 when I was actually competing at the Australian Junior Championships of Magic and Justin had gone along to watch the competition! After the competition (which I won!) I introduced myself to him and we got chatting, where a creative spark became immediately apparent. Fast forward to 2014 we were debuting our first family show called ‘Go Trick Yourself’ and we continued reworking our family show for several more years, before making the decision in 2018 to design two brand new shows – a family show and an 18+ adults only show – called The Greatest Magic Show and Adults Only Magic Show respectively. Capturing both ends of the market at global fringe festivals proved massively successful for us, and the shows have continued to grow and develop each and every year that we tour them around Australia and the world.

How does it feel to return to the Fringe?

It feels AMAZING! Edinburgh Fringe is such a magical place, and we had such a blast last year with all our shows, that we just cannot wait to be back in the mayhem and gloriousness that is Edinburgh Fringe!

To be able to travel back there this year with not one, but two of our productions surrounded by some of the most incredibly talented performers in the world is an absolute dream come true, and I just hope that we can bring joy and happiness to the audiences of the fringe this year after almost three years of troubling times around the world, showcasing what we do best!

There are over 3,000 shows at the Fringe. So, what sets your show apart?

We are here for our audience – 100%. If you love magic, and love having a good time, then we will provide that for you in spades! You can literally bring anyone along to this show, we guarantee it will be a rowdy night of joy and laughter and as far as comedy adult magic goes – we aim to deliver that unlike anyone else!

Is there anything specific you’re hoping for the audience to take away?

The biggest compliment that we ever get after our shows is that the audiences can really see from the moment Justin and I set foot on stage our raw passion and enjoyment for what we do, plus the completely natural way we are able to bounce off one another and the synchronicity of everything we do. We know each other just as much as we know ourselves, and it is the way our friendship shines through during our shows – while both of us are doing the one thing which we love more than anything else – that I think will leave the biggest impact on our audiences.

Your ideal audience is in attendance, who’s watching? Or more importantly – who isn’t there…?

Anyone who is looking for a sure thing in the way of a show that will bring an enjoyable, unforgettable night of magic and laughs at this year’s fringe! We appeal to every audience member who loves magic and comedy, and we guarantee every show will be completely unique to that performance if you are looking for a show in which you can get involved in, and want your mind blown at the same time, this is for you! As for who isn’t in the audience… I mean children is an obvious answer – but maybe don’t invite your local priest either. That being said – my nonna (Italian for grandma) has seen the show many times and absolutely loves it!!

It’s an intense month, so where you’re able, how do you plan to relax, and are there any other shows you intend to see or want to recommend?

My favourite thing to do when not performing is absolutely see shows – I know that sounds a tad ‘workaholic-ish’ but when you are performing an afternoon and night show every day for the Fringe you take every chance you can get to see shows!

We also love the beach, sightseeing, and just spending a well-deserved afternoon in a classic Edinburgh pub with friends is a fantastic way to reset and recharge!

We always stay in touch with our friends and family back home plus love to spend time with fellow performers just existing and doing things that non-performers do in the day – head to the park for picnics, see the sights, catch a movie. Anything we find to recharge!

In your ideal world, how can we improve the world of the Fringe, of performance, and the industry?

I would love to see a closeness grow between the artists and the general public! I think community engagement will emerge as a big theme of this year, as artists and audiences alike bond over their shared passion and love for live performance and bring back to life the incredible atmosphere and excitement that the Edinburgh Fringe is so widely known for!

Reviews for "Fox Mascot Garb: Unleashing the Spirit Animal Within"

- Emily - 2 stars - The fox mascot garb was extremely uncomfortable and made it difficult to move around. The head was big and heavy, and it was hard to see where I was going. The material used was also itchy and caused me to break out in a rash. Overall, I was not happy with the fox mascot garb and would not recommend it.
- Jason - 1 star - I found the fox mascot garb to be poorly designed and cheaply made. The zipper on the back constantly got stuck, making it a challenge to put on and take off. The fabric was thin and easily ripped, and after just a few uses, the stitching started coming loose. I would not trust this garb to hold up for multiple events, and I regretted purchasing it.
- Sarah - 2 stars - The fox mascot garb was disappointing. Not only did it lack any real detail or resemblance to a fox, but the sizing was off. It was too small in some areas and too large in others, making it uncomfortable and unflattering. The material used was also very cheap and easily wrinkled. I expected better quality for the price I paid. Overall, I was not satisfied with the fox mascot garb.
