The enchanted amulet of Quoz is a legendary artifact said to possess incredible powers and abilities. The origins of the amulet are shrouded in mystery, with many different tales and stories surrounding its creation. Mountain Magic is a nice mild blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder, a much used spice blend I use on my meats and veggies that I usually season directly from their on spice containers, so I don’t typically use a blend when i use these four spices when I cook. I found the taste of Mountain Magic tasty. Not too salty, peppery, garlicky or oniony. For someone looking for a blend with a hint of garlic and onion, this is it. It was tasty on my baked potato and my husband enjoyed the flavor, as well.
What I did like was the garlic powder was ground down enough that it did not burn during the baking process, like you can get when you bake something with granulated garlic and it is not blended in something, like a sauce. I also like that the onion and garlic seasonings were not so fine, like you find in garlic or onion powder, that it tends to clump on something like the outside of a potato skin. If you like a stronger garlic and/or onion taste, you may need to sprinkle a little powder or granulated powder of the seasoning you want to kick up the garlic or onion taste. I love me some garlic and onion, so when I cook meats, you will know from smell and taste that I made it. If you are familiar with Tastefully Simple’s Onion-Onion or Garlic-Garlic, this blend is not strong like those seasonings, but a great seasoning that most people should like. I do find it to be better tasting than using Lawry’s garlic salt, or Kinder’s (a Northern California spice blend company), or McCormick spice blend, on my baked potatoes.
