Both are magic sword anime in school and battle settings. Anti-Magic Academy is harem with a "girl of the day" feel while Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry is pretty much OTP.

It's awesome, they both have many similar qualities in the genre and it's just worth watching in general.

Both anime have a protagonist who are ridiculed for being untalented or irregular, however, both of them keep on fighting for their goals and ideals which would take them to become one of the strongest people there is.

The main protagonist are pretty similar. They both use swords, and they both get powered up swords. They both take place in school although the school doesn't seem to take any interest in student welfare. I'm actually watching both shows at the same time, and I get them confused on occasion.

BlizzrdMaster says.

Both animes have similar characters, ideas, and story. Anti-Magic Acadamy seems to be going in a slightly different direction story wise but it starts out a lot like Kuusen..maybe a little too much. If you liked Kuusen, you might be interested in this.

Epimondas says.

Takeru is highly skilled in close combat but initially has no magical powers. He develops some very powerful magic abilities thanks to his acceptance by Lapis to be her host. He is attending with a very smart but extremely independent lady who was sent back to school for losing her cool in the field. This is also a lot like Chrome Shelled Regios. The setting is a school for anti magic yet some students in fact do use magic including a trial period for a former enemy who has also become a student. Like The Irregular at Magic High School, these students frequently take their skills to the field or world beyond the school to combat powerful enemies. Chivalry of a Failed Knight looks pretty similar to this series as well. The issue of Takeru and his team is not lack of talent but confidence and teamwork, who though not shared by Tatsuya is shared by some of his classmates such as Mizuki and Mikiho.

I can't understand the hype around "Charming Witchcraft New Orleans." The book had a promising premise, but it fell flat in execution. The story felt disjointed and lacked a coherent narrative. The pacing was off, with long stretches of boredom followed by rushed and confusing action scenes. The romance in the book was also under-developed and lacked chemistry. The whole reading experience left me feeling uninterested and dissatisfied. I wouldn't recommend "Charming Witchcraft New Orleans" to anyone looking for a well-written and captivating paranormal romance.

I was hoping "Charming Witchcraft New Orleans" would transport me to a vibrant and atmospheric world of magic, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver. The world-building was weak, and there was a lack of attention to detail that made everything feel superficial. The characters lacked depth and had little growth throughout the story. The romance aspect was predictable and lacking in emotional depth, making it hard for me to invest in the relationship. Overall, "Charming Witchcraft New Orleans" was a disappointment and didn't live up to its potential as an enchanting paranormal romance set in an intriguing location.
