Hey, hey babes! Can you believe how quickly the time is flying by? It’s already March, which means warmer weather ahead, especially for us Floridians! The warm weather also brings longer days filled with more of that golden sunshine to soak up and enjoy! With more sun and long days brings more outdoor activities, and we’re SOOOO here for those beach and pool days! So grab your towel, bathing suit, and that pizza shaped pool float and let’s jump in!
Actually not so fast, we forgot one v.important step…..SUNSCREEN! Protecting your skin is so important, because no one ever said, “I’d like to look like an worn, old leather bag when I’m older,” amiright?! So for the ladies (and men) that care about having healthy skin, and taking care of it, this post is for you! Today I am sharing my personal faves in my daily skin care routine, because skincare doesn’t just stop at sun protection. It is a daily routine that should be specifically curated for your skin type, texture, and tone. It doesn’t have to be an in depth regiment consisting of 10+ products! If 3 basic products work for you, then do that, Sis!
Please understand, while these products work amazing for my skin type, they may not work specifically for you and your needs. Skincare is not a one size fits all routine, therefore you should always consult a professional dermatologist or esthetician to help curate a routine that works for you!
Let’s start with my Night time routine!
Every night before I go to bed, I cleanse my face, removing all the dirt, grime and buildup from the day. If I wear makeup that day, I remove it first before completing any other steps in my routine.
I used to use makeup wipes, but then I felt like they were so wasteful, so I switched to a makeup eraser cloth and I LOVE it. I really feel like it gets into my pores, and removes the makeup as opposed to just wiping the surface layer of makeup away. I purchased mine at Ulta.
Next, I wash my face using Juice Beauty’s 2 in 1 cleanser. I love this cleanser because I feel like it cleans thoroughly without drying out my skin!

After I gently pat my face dry I use a toner. I simply add some toner to a flat cotton round and softly swipe over my face. This helps to even my skin tone as well as shrink my pores. Let me tell you, this stuff is a miracle worker! I had such large pores by nose, and after 2 uses I saw a difference! Seriously, obsessed, I can’t recommend it enough!
- Targets uneven skin tone, dullness, and visible pores and strengthen your skin’s barrier function with niacinamide (vitamin B3)
- Naturally derived arbutin improves the look of hyperpigmentation while licorice root extract soothes inflammation and inhibits excess melanin production
- A stable form of vitamin C boosts skin’s ability to defend itself against free radical damage and promotes collagen production
Next I apply Peter Thomas Roth’s PM retinol Fusion PM serum. I only do this 2-3 nights a week, since my skin can become very dry while using this product. However, this is a game changer product for preventing aging, fine lines, and wrinkles!

Next I apply a moisturizer all over my face and neck, using my finger tips. I am currently using Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle Overnight Cream. After applying my moisturizer, I then use my ring finger to lightly dab Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular Anti-Wrinkle eye cream under my eye area. It is important not to tug and pull at the eye area because it is very sensitive!

When I wake up in the morning, I rinse my face with warm water and pat it dry. Lately, allergies have been at all time high for me, so my eyes have been very puffy upon waking. This is where I use these amazing Caffeine Energizing Hydrogel eye patches by Good Molecules! I usually put them on then sit and sip my coffee, while I let them work their magic.

After I remove the eye patches, I utilize the same toner I mentioned previously. Then, I simply apply Juice Beauty Sunscreen all over my face and neck and the same eye cream I previously mentioned under my eye area, and I am out the door ready for the day! My skin is protected from sun damage, free radicals, and anything else the day wants to throw at me! 😉
