This market caters to individuals who have an interest in esoteric knowledge, mystical practices, and spiritualism. The term "occult" itself encompasses a wide range of topics, including astrology, magic, divination, alchemy, and metaphysics. Wholesale occult literature can be found in specialized bookstores, online retailers, and at trade shows dedicated to the occult and esoteric communities. Curae of gold

A Touch of Gold was a book I really enjoyed when I read it. A King Midas retelling and that’s something I’ve never read before. Annie Sullivan is back with the second book in this duology. A Curse of Gold is out now and I was able to get an e-ARC on Netgalley to read and review.

After barely surviving thieving, bloodthirsty pirates and a harrowing quest at sea to retrieve her stolen treasure, Kora finds readjusting to palace life just as deadly. Kora’s people openly turn against her, threatening her overthrow as heir to the throne—a cursed queen who has angered Dionysus. When Dionysus puts out a challenge to kill the girl with the golden touch and burn down her kingdom, it’s not just her future on the throne in danger. Kora’s life and entire kingdom are now on contract.

As bold and brave as ever, Kora sets out to find Dionysus, the very person who is trying to kill her, on the mysterious disappearing island of Jipper. Kora has no other choice. If she wants to save her kingdom and have any chance at reversing her father’s curse, she will have to enter into a deadly game with Dionysus, the greatest trickster the world, or the underworld, has ever seen.

Curses and queens. Pirates and kings. Gods and magic. This highly anticipated sequel to Annie Sullivan’s enchanting A Touch of Gold, the story of the daughter King Midas turned to gold, is the gripping crescendo to this sweeping fantasy adventure. The final saga of a cursed queen, a vengeful Greek god, and a dazzling kingdom in the balance.

Review

A Touch of Gold was a lot of fun and left me excited to see how Kora’s story would continue. Now that she has found her father’s gold, the next obstacle comes to stand in her way. Dionysus is threatening a war on her kingdom and she can’t let that happen. So she decides to try and stop him before he can attack everything she loves.

Greek mythology is always something I love reading about, so it was a lot of fun seeing all of those elements in this story. It was definitely an element I really enjoyed in this book. Our cast of characters that we got to know and love during the first book are back to go on that adventure in this sequel. It was great reading about everyone again. A new character, Triton, was by far my favorite and he really made this book so much fun. I’d say he’s my favorite of them all.

A Curse of Gold is action packed. It doesn’t take long for the adventure to stop and it just doesn’t seem to stop. This makes it a fast read, but it’s also something that made me love this book left. I mean of course doing what this cast of characters wants to do will cause a lot to happen, but it felt like one thing after another kept on happening. For me it felt like the characters never had a chance to reflect or to really grow. The only one who really developed in my eyes was Triton. I just wish I had seen that more of the characters we have already grown to love.

If you’re looking for a book packed with action and humor, I would definitely suggest you pick up this duology!

Even though this conclusion wasn’t everything I was hoping for, it was quite the ride. I’m happy I read this and will definitely have to check out more King Midas retellings. Have you read any good fantasy books lately? Let me know in the comments.

By purchasing books in bulk from publishers or distributors, they can offer lower prices to individual customers and retailers. I was extremely disappointed with the selection of occult literature at this wholesale store. The books were outdated and lacked depth and substance. It seemed like they were just trying to capitalize on the trend without offering any valuable content. I had hoped to find some insightful and thought-provoking reads, but instead, I was met with a collection of poorly written and nonsensical books. Overall, I would not recommend this wholesale store to anyone looking for quality occult literature.
2. John - 2 stars
I recently visited this wholesale occult literature store, and I must say it left much to be desired. While they had a wide range of books to choose from, the quality was seriously lacking. Many of the books seemed to be written by amateur authors with little knowledge of the occult. The information provided was often inaccurate and poorly researched. Additionally, the prices were not as competitive as I had expected for a wholesale store. Overall, I was disappointed with the selection and would recommend looking elsewhere for reliable and high-quality occult literature.

As an avid reader of occult literature, I was excited to visit this wholesale store. However, I left feeling underwhelmed and unsatisfied. The books on offer were very mainstream and lacked originality. I expected to find unique and obscure titles, but instead, it felt like a compilation of the most popular occult books available. The store lacked the mystery and intrigue that I associate with the occult, and I would not recommend it to those seeking a more unconventional reading experience.
